I’ve given this backdrop 5 stars, not because it’s a 5 star backdrop but because it’s a 5 star backdrop for the price. This is definitely a lightweight backdrop which will be more than capable of holding the two backdrops that came with it. This entire stand, 2 backdrops and clips for about one sixth of a single C stand, without clamps, boom etc. I bought this for a specific still life where I want to square part of my studio off, and it will certainly do the work I require from it. I can not recommend it for daily use, or anything above very occasional work and you will have to treat it gently. However, for a £23 backdrop that will only have very occaisional use, you will be ok. I can’t say it’s a bad buy, it can’t be for the price, but it’s not a professional quality buy. If sandbagged could be worth a punt for a travelling baby photographer where there’s no chance of it being knocked by a client, beware the stands don’t have a massive span, but again adequate if care is taken. The backdrops are certainly better than expected and I could create a white or negative reflector with them, and the case is good for keeping it all in one place. All in all, yes it is a five star backdrop for the price, and I’d say overall it’s a bargain and but please don't compare it to Manfrotto or Matthews.

Waste of money - the backdrop material was all creased & you couldn’t even iron them out .. tried a steamer on it but that didnt manage it ...in the end went to a fabric shop n bought the fabric from there .. a lot cheaper

its okay... I does the job but it's abit of a pain because the frame it self very flimsy and the material isn't solid white I can see some patters on there and it's pretty see through. Also if you fold it it gets creased and hard to get rid of the creases.

The frame is ok and seems sturdy enough. However, the storage bag was ripped when I unpacked it and the backdrop melted with a cool iron...so not too impressive. I've now ordered a cotton muslin backdrop from a different seller, so I think it will still be useful for me, but has obviously cost more than intended. So, I'd say useful for the frame, but I would definitely suggest making your own backdrop or buying a cotton one.

As described sturdy enough although no idea how I’m getting creases out 😰 using books to tighten the fabric at the minute but been 12 hours doesn’t seem to be making a difference. Will do the job tho I think as I’m just staring out and only doing friends kids

Carry bag is dirty and has holes in it, No invoice or paperwork, I have no time to send it back and order another one as it was supposed to be a gift, not a happy bunny

Wish I had read the reviews before buying! The fabric is so stupidly creased it can't be used. Steaming doesn't work. I had to go and buy some cottonfabric before being able to use. Why not send the fabric as rolled ?!!?

Material is not as described, you'll need to iron it, be careful.
