JIATO Placemats Set of 6 With Coasters for Kitchen Table Heat Resistant Washable Vinyl Table Mats (Placemats+Coasters, Grey)

Having bought a new kitchen dining table for 'everyday' use, I wanted some new placemats to set it off. Well visually these placemats are great and they're quite large so do tend to stray food items that are liberated from our childrens' plates. The problem though is that more liquid substances, like the ketchup one of my lads covers his food with, can leak through the woven fabric on to the table. Even if it doesn't, it gets stuck in the fabric and can be quite difficult to remove without going through a full wash cycle, in other words it's not that often a simple wipe will clean them.So, if you like the size and the look, they're great, but if you just want placemats you can wipe over after use, then look elsewhere.

I like these mats. They are a lot more floppy than expected but they look great. They are made of thin, woven threads of plastic so can be wiped easily, but when dirt is encrusted you have to brush it off with a brush first.

The design is what we were looking for and the plate mats are really nice. The coasters are a bit flimsy and could do with being at leat 3-4 times thicker. Overall they are ok

Theyre ok.. but any spilled food gets stuck in the tiny holes. Also leaves plate marks which dont seem to be going away. Look the part though

Very impressed. Great plate mats. They look very smart. Large in size. Easy to clean. And price is good.One downside is the are not waterproof. Due to being a woven threaded Matt liquid goes straight through.I found out the hard way unfortunately. Spilt my tea and when I removed the table Matt it had soaked through into my white table cloth ☹️
