Fully supports two monitors
I was trying to run two monitors from a single display port so that I could have different screen savers on each. This worked perfectly on Win11 with DisplayFusion. Perhaps a little more expensive than cheaper dual monitor solutions, but reliable, supports 4K on both and even different screen refresh rates on each.

No complaints
I needed to run two monitors in extended (MST) mode (both DP connections) from one DP output on my work computer without having to download any drivers, as this is not allowed by the company, installation is very straightforward, plug everything in and it works. I ordered the DP 1.2 version because of the basic application and price point needed, the newer DP 1.4 might be better suited depending on your needs. The product seems to be very well constructed and has a thick 12" long tail to hook up to the source. Overall very happy with the product.

Not Good for a KVM Setup
I like the metal housing of this hub. The rigidity added by the housing will make this very durable. The primary cable is thick and well made. I didn't have any problem with this unit when it was plugged directly between my computer and my monitors.I had an issue installing this with a KVM. The setup was Computer > KVM > Hub > Monitors. When used inline with the KVM, the monitors just didn't work. If I used the KVM by itself, the monitor works fine, and if I use the hub by itself, it is fine. If I use the devices together, there is no signal. Since I know the KVM works and works with Displayport 1.2, the only thing that makes sense to me is that there are just too many connections in my setup and because of that, too much loss. I ordered a powered MST hub, so maybe the amplification will clear up the issue.Aside from that compatibility issue, this device seems to work just fine.

Great product!
Works well! I needed it for my home work station and unfortunately it wasn’t a fit but it wasn’t the products fault because I found out our home work stations only allow for 2 screens not 3. It worked on my gaming set up great but I already had one for that set up so I ended up returning.

Great when it works but requires constant unplug/plug of the cables into the hub
Well, not sure how I should rate this. When it works it’s perfect. However, every time I turn on my laptop I need to unplug and then plug back in the cables coming from monitors and going into the hub. Otherwise I dont get Displayport signal or at least thats what my monitors say. Both monitors are brand new, I tried 3 different set of cables, I updated the graphics card drivers, unplugged and plugged back in laptop, monitors... Messed with resolution although the current one works perfect, again when it works (2560x1440 @75mhz). Reached out to Monoprice too and they seem to be surprised by the symptoms although i found quite a few people on the internet having the same issue with mst hubs. I wonder if perhaps i got a faulty unit and should exchange

Just what I needed!
Bought a new $1300 XPS8950 PC from Dell. It has Intel Integrated UHD graphics (yeah the cheap one, Im not into gaming). It has exactly one video output port, a DisplayPort. I wanted to extend my desktop over two monitors. If your monitors support it, you can do this by “Daisy Chaining” which only needs the single DP port and a cable between the monitors. But my monitors don’t have that feature, SO I needed this thing. I just plugged things together and it fired right up, going into extended desktop as soon as I logged on. Nothing to adjust, no software drivers, etc.

Works well and right
I bought the Amazon warehouse deal which was 50% cheaper. Arrived a sealed bag, but the device looks brand new. Once I plugged it in, it automatically went into extend mode with my monitors (which is what I bought it for). Happy I didn't have to configure anything or download drivers.

It works well for MST supported display adapters
I was surprised how well it is working for adding another monitor - I have 2 DP ports on my display card and was looking to add a 3rd monitor. Since the card supported MST, I figured I give this a try and it worked. I have a total of 3 monitors (2 - 1080p monitors connected through the hub) connected to the PC. There is the occasional time when the PC reboots and is unable to find the monitor, but usually a reconnection of the hub fixes the problem.

Disappointed
Spent too much money for it to not work. Tried to work with the company as they would offer me a refund. They sent me many many many emails to try this and then try that. So complicated. It worked perfectly for the first 10ish months. Then stopped working. I think a wire broke inside but the company was not willing to replace it. Too much money wasted.
