Ranger Perfect Pearls Embellishment Pigment Kit, Metallics (PPP-KIT-15963)

Even though Perfect Pearls has been around a long time I just learned of it. When the order came opened the package and one of the lids was not screwed down tightly. Some of the powder had come out. Was a complete mess cleaning up the jars and my hands afterwards. Other than this issue I have used the powder for what it is intended and gives a great look to cards.

The Pearls are good, but the Perfect Medium was dried up.

I think i will love these once i have mastered them. I have tried a few times and found them a little messy but perhaps that is just me. I have not given up yet. I will try them again once i have a card to place them on. I think i will get to love them.

I used this set of Perfect Pearls to make my Thanksgiving cards. I put the Perfect pearls on my stamped image using a Versa Mark embossing pad. I layered the colors making them look more realistic. They blended great. The metalics really came through on the coffee bean colored card stock that I used for my base. Just a spritz of water to set the Pearls and you are done. The cards looked hand painted with just the right amount of shimmer. My family loved the cards.

Really love the versatility of this set. You can use the powder dry over embossing ink or medium, or you can mix it with water and use it wet. The colors are richly pigmented, and the set comes with medium, and two brushes (1 round brush, and one blender brush). Instructions on the back explain how the pigment is used.

Easy to use in several techniques. Nice shiny way to embellish cards.

I like this very much. I’m using it on metal for jewelry making. Quite a nice effect on black, copper and brass metal.

I love Ranger perfect pearls. I often make my own Mists, paints, and Shimmer brushes using the ranger perfect pearl color perfect Pearl. It turned out it was not much more expensive to buy this set of four then to buy a replacement perfect Pearl and I have it shipped by itself. I figured I would use the other colors at some point anyway.

Use these all the time for Junk Journals, Pocket Letters, Paper crafting etc

This is a terrific addition to my craft stash; it seems quite pricey but I think it is worth the outlay. The colours are bronze, gold, copper and pearl, all look gorgeous and a little of the powder goes a long way so the set should last a long time; also included is a small pad of 'glue'. The brushes work perfectly too - the smaller one is firmer and intended for applying the powder (hence you only use a surprisingly small amount), the larger one for brushing off the excess (and you can brush it right back into the pot). I have used it to pleasing effect with stamps and versamark ink and I am now going to experiment with inking a piece of card with the glue pad provided, covering this with the powder and embossing the finished piece to achieve a faux metallic look (as seen in a Youtube video).

Really cool effects can be had using these wonderful metallic perfect pearls powders. So versatile. Two sizes of paint brushes allows for flexibility on how much powder to apply.

Great price value! Lasts long too. Came with two brushes. This pigment powder is high quality and really versatile. Becomes permanent if used with water.
