I purchasde several in this series, and my granddaughter loved reading them herself or to me. She loves animals, but the stories also offer insights into human nature, learning new things, and overcoming small difficulties, in a very kind and non-preachy way. The stories move along at a good pace, with a bit of adventure, enough to keep a child wanting to turn the pages. When we read together, we found ourselves touched, and naturally wanting to talk about the stories - hard to find these wonderful sharing moments. I also found the books good for improving reading skills - easy enough to comprehend the main idea and most details, but offering just enough challenge and new vocabulary.

Great book, I've always been a fan of the Puppy Place series because kids love them, they're easy to read, and I like dogs. Would recommend this series to any young reader, especially those in elementary school.

As soon as I Pre-Ordered this book, I waited such a long time until it finally came. To me, it's the second best out of all the series,but it was heroic - and fun!
