I foster rescue dogs, some of them arrive in pretty bad condition, with injuries, healing fractures, scared to death, etc. it is truly sad to witness the cruelty with which some people are capable of treating their animals. I also foster the very old and sick dogs, they are called "foster" dogs, but in the actuality, nobody will adopt an old dog with expensive heart, tooth, arthritis, and various other medical issues. I just make them comfy, and let them live out their last days as pain-free as is possible, inside of a comfortable home, with lots of love, good food, and nice, comfy, supportive dog beds. I have about 16 of this type of dog bed now, they are extremely supportive ,and sized to fit dogs of up to about 60 pounds. Some of these beds have been in my possession for about 8-10 years, with a steady progression of 40-50 pound dogs using them. They arrive with a very nice inner eggshell foam outer mattress, and a firmer inner portion of the mattress. The cover is a tough fabric on the side the meets the floor, and a comfy fleece-type fabric on the other side. The fabric covering has a nice, tough zipper, allowing one to remove the cover for washing. I additionally purchase thick and tough dog blankets to lay on top of the beds, for both extra comfort for those arthritic legs and hips, and to limit the wear and tear on the zippered mattress cover.I have never had an issue with any of the many, many dog beds of this brand and type that I have purchased. They tend to last very well for about 8 to 10 years of non-stop and rough usage. Towards the end of their life span, I stack two of the beds on top of each other, and can get another year of use out of the beds with that method, until the foam layers become just too flattened to offer good support and must be disposed of.I just purchased two more of these beds, the price is the best that I have ever seen for a bed of such remarkable staying-power, and with such professional-level supporting capabilities. If these dog beds can remain firm, supportive, and in good condition for so many years, and after being used non-stop for a steady progression of dogs, they will certainly meet the needs and demands of even the most discerning pet owner. I can recommend these beds without reservation. And, many of my foster dogs who are no longer on this earth, spent their last moments in comfort as a result of having had access to these beds. For that, any pet owner, whether a dog rescue member, or a private pet owner will be grateful. Seeing some of the old, arthritic, and abused fosters that I get laying on these beds in comfort, with no moans and groans of pain, makes it all worthwhile.

Not A Joke! This Dog bed is better than my mattress! A firm but gentle and supportive bed for my senior dog. The cover is total waterproof bombproof; thick canvas with the soft fabric sewn on top for extra comfort. The cover fits like a glove I fully expect to have trouble getting the foam back into the cover after washing. (Nothing a trash bag can't solve). Why not a 5! Not sure if it was just a fluke but I took the cover off to see the inside of bed upon arrival. There was spray adhesive on the inside of the cover this is still there after being washed and I am currently looking for a pet friendly chemical free way to remove the sticky stuff before putting the cover back on the bed. To make matters worse there is also the sticky spray adhesive on the edges of the mattress itself. (I am assuming this is over spray and not the way they usually come). A messy project to fix for sure. However, my dog loves the bed and I have noticed she has a bit more spring in her step after a good night's rest. So 4 Stars.

This is the best bed and a superb company. Because my pup is a baby t-rex in disguise, I try to give him orthopedic things to help him in the long run. He loves these beds more than the couches, the human beds, and the snow (which is probably the thing he loves almost as much as he loves snacks). The beds are durable, and he has yet to crush them under his weight or his rough body slamming of toys on it.The company is also amazing. I have 2 of these beds in xl, and recently purchased another in large to put in the crate for my pup while he recover from a ruptured ACL. The most devastating thing for him would be to not be on his beds, other than crate confined. The estimated shipping wasn't until 10 days after his surgery, but after an email and a quick explaination/plea, the company was amazing and got it here the day of his surgery! Suddenly he isn't so mad about being stuck in his crate. :)

Bought this for a 135 lbs Pyr who for most of the spring and summer preferred starting his nights under the fan near the A/C vent rather than his bed, yet every morning we'd catch him lying on his back on his bed sound asleep. As we've rolled into a cooler fall he starts and finishes his nights on his Snoozer dog bed.Absolutely love the thickness... We replaced an older orthopedic dog bed with the Snoozer, the Snoozer is at least twice as thick if not 3 times thicker than the bed we had before.Our Pyr likes wearing the outside, mud, mulch, whatever he can get into and isn't a fan of being cleaned up before it dries... He has sneaked into the house run up to the bedroom and rolled all over his bed transferring the mess onto his bed.Easily take off the cover and throw it into the washing machine

This bed is amazing! My 13 year old Goldendoodle quit climbing the stairs about 6 months ago, was having trouble getting up from her old bed that laid on hardwood floors. After a week of sleeping & actually spending most of her day (being an older dog) on this bed she's playful & has climbed the stairs several times! I believe she feels better being on the thicker mattress. I ordered the large & both my larger dogs can sleep on it. I decided to order another so the older dog can have her own. I ordered the medium & it's more than enough room for my younger dog (also a full size doodle).

My 3 large dogs love this bed. We started with 1 of them, which was always occupied by a dog. Last year we got a second one, since they prefer it over their other bed, and I just ordered a 3rd. They also prefer it to the couch! I like the fact it doesn't deflate after years, like other beds, and they always look sooo comfortable in it. We have an 80 lb lab mix, a 70 lb Shepard mix and 60 lb boxer mix. We got the large that is 40" long and it's a perfect size.

I have 2 and I wrote a long review on the other so this one short and sweet. We had to cut the foam on one side a little so it would be easier to put back in the cover. Used it for my dogs and clients dogs and washed it alot! had pee and things like that and never went through and still does not. Recommend this 200%!! longest and actually a waterproof dog bed!Want to add I've had these beds since 2013-14 and still have them in great shape!

The X-Large bed is HUGE. It fits two large rough collies (90LB and 60LB), who are the size of a Newfie/St. Bernard and a Lab (for comparison). It's firm yet soft and very comfortable, I could sleep on it. It's very thick. The cover is washable and waterproof which is great for accidents (housetraining or old dogs, or sick dogs), drool and other liquids. My only complaint is that the top (ours is white/cream) seems to be a magnet for pet hair and shows it very well. But that being said, we have two long haired dogs on a white bed.

My senior dog loves this bed. She has no issue getting up and down from it as she does have arthritis. Just wanted to do an update on this product. My dog has had this bed for just over a year now and it is still in great shape and she still loves it. There is no sagging or lumps, it has been washed several times and it still looks great. Highly recommend this product.

Our dog has begun showing signs of joint pain so i bought him this bed for Christmas. This bed has him up off the floor and puts no pressure on his joints like is old bed. Most dog beds the stuffing will eventuallypush out to the sides leaving your dog lying on the floor. Not this bed. Our dog is now getting up off his bed without limping. Completely worth the money in my opinion.

Bought this bed for my two dogs almost a year ago and it was worth every penny! I have a 65lb dalmatian and 80lb lab, and they can both fit on the X-Large with room to spare. It's held up great over the past year as well, and the cover cleans up well in the washer. Highly recommended!
