Runs large by 1-2 sizes
I am 5'5", 125 lbs, and usually wear a small to medium in tops. I ordered a small vest based on seller information and reviews. It is big, the equivalent of a US medium to large. The arm holes are huge and I can cross one side of it over the other in front by several inches. The thickness and starchiness of the material means that gathering it using the string at the waist doesn't work well. I came back to the item on Amazon hoping there was an extra small that I could return it for. Small is the smallest size. I like the style, the construction is sturdy, and the fabric good quality. It's too bad the sizing is SO generous. It's like someone realized Chinese sizing is a problem for U.S. buyers, and then way over-corrected.

Really cute, comfortable, and fits great! I'm 5' 6" weigh 125lbs, usually wear a small and the small fit perfectly. Looks good w/ skinny pants or leggings and w/ the bottom front tied too
