Pros:This metal growhouse seems to be well constructed, the full spectrum LED lights are securely installed. The stylish design, and black matte finish fits my decor scheme, and it looks great on my counter.Cons: This is literally a metal frame with lights - that's it - that's all. Not a single accessory - no substrate, growing medium, removable drainage tray, seeds or pods, etc - nothing. While the lights are sufficient, the light bar is not adjustable. The only way to drain excess water is to remove the plants - a real hassle, no matter the medium they are in. A base of lava rock or clay pebbles (at your additional expense, as they're not included) will prevent root rot for a short time, but only a short time. It doesn't include the necessary components for hydroponic growing, so that route would also be an additional expense. The smart app does not work with high speed internet...high speed is pretty much the norm and necessity for most people. A dual band router would be yet another expense.I just can't comprehend the high price of this unit. There are many other growhouses on the market, from well-known brands, that include many bells and whistles, along with accessories - for a much lower price.

Is a metal box, with a grow light. Nothing else is included. Would not purchase again.

This is a metal box with a grow light in it.That's it.So the premium you're paying for is that it's a stylish metal box, that can be hung on your wall, that has "museum quality light", apparently. It even fades off all fancy-like when you turn the light off.I mistakenly thought that since it said "for hydroponics" in the title that there would be a way to use this as a hydroponic garden. Nope. Just a metal box with a light. No drainage holes, so you put the potted plants into the metal plant stand with a light.I love a lot of other products from Modern Sprout but this one just isn't something I could recommend.
