HellaBEHR SERVICE 8MA 376 755-111 Expansion Tank, coolant

So after 2 weeks of having fitted this I found that the oil cooler connector wouldn't seat properly, I then spent the next few weeks trying to figure out my leak. Every morning I had couple of drops (size of a penny) on my drive. Then after a spirited drive I'd have a puddle (probably due to pressure finally giving way).The oil cooler connection is very hard to get on, I tried many times to knock it on, push it on, brey it on, but there's a chamfer on the connection which stops the oil cooler seating properly, eventually popping loose. The genuine part doesn't and slides on without fuss.So I've swapped it back and will see if this resolves the leak.I'll take a picture to help the next person.I've probably spent about £40 on wasted Coolant from leaks and twice having to bleed the system post ET swap overs...------Fitted to 2004 e46 330ci.Regarded as one of the better after market ETs, fit as expected, comes with the level sensor so no need to buy separately. Doesn't come with a cap.I fitted it to a new a radiator, however I had to fit the ET to the radiator / housing whilst the radiator was out of the engine bay, as the oil cooler connection is very hard to lock in. You will find you have no leverage. But doing it before you drop into the engine bay means you can click it into place. And yes it will click when locked in.

replaced 20 year old one and this works well, no dash lights from sensor either .scanner shows no codes either ,worked for 4 months now light wont go out on dash shows low fluid level when tank is full ,no choice went to the stealer £80 , and you guessed it light now out ,

I bought this as it got good reviews. I thought Behr Hella would provide German made products, this however is China made. I have purchased a China made expansion tank before this and it lasted 4 months before failing and bursting at the joins/seams making it necessary for me to purchase this one. Hopefully this one is stronger. Also you will need to use PTFE tape when fitting as it doesn't allow hose connection to fit snuggly and results with leakage. After I fitted with necessary tape and gave car a decent run, it seems to be working well. I'll give update if things go south!

Exactly the same bottle as the old one same make and part number the only problem was the level sensor was damaged in the box
