I have had my fair share of headlamps in the past through various construction projects. I lost a headlamp that I recently bought at Home Depot, somewhere in my garage that needs some serious organization and getting rid of things that I have collected over the years and don't have the heart to throw away. So I bought this one, cause it looks pretty serious and the price seems reasonable and with Amazon prime it was in time for my construction needs. Yes, a little too lazy to look for the one I just bought at Home Depot.The product was professionally packaged in a compact box, and it came with some serious rechargeable batteries along with a Micro USB cable to facilitate recharging, while they are in the headlamp, which was a nice feature. With most headlamps you need to buy new batteries and of course they need to be removed and replaced with new ones. This one has rechargeable batteries that can be charged while the batteries lie inside the headlamp.Switching the headlamp on gave some very high light output which I did not realize how high until later. It has Six modes, and was surprised to see a separate blinking red signal light at the back of the head if a button is pressed. I guess this would be a good feature to see someone in the dark from the back as a safety indicator. In any case, the front head also rotates vertically at different angles, similar to other headlamp brands, which is useful at directing the light to areas you are working on in front of you. I used this for framing and other construction, and it is very rugged and the batteries lasted about 3 hours which was a good amount of time. The top overhead strap insures that it stays on without any slipping. Many other types only circle the head with a strap which need to be quite tight sometimes uncomfortably tight otherwise the slip down and need continuous adjustment.A couple of days ago, I went to the garage in order to get some tools but realized that I needed to go on a scavenger hunt as I could not find what I was looking for. However, wouldn't you know it, I did find the headlamp that I lost prior and that was recently purchased at Home Depot, that I mentioned above, so it was a good opportunity to use it to try to find what I was missing in the garage. After putting it on, there was NO comparison to the one I am reviewing here from Amazon. Being spoiled, I had to grab the new one to continue my scavenger hunt through dark areas in the garage to find what I was looking for.So bottom line, the feature/benefits of this device are:1) Five varying size, LED lights capable of very high output when all lit up,2) Six LED light modes with separate red signal light on rear side.3) Rechargeable batteries supplied, with Micro USB charging cable. The nice thing is that batteries can be charged without having to remove them from headlamp, These batteries lasted approximately an impressive 3 hours before needing to be recharged.4) Durable headlamp adequate for construction work, with an extra strap along the top of the head which holds it better in place than other brands which only circle the head. However it is quite light in weight and made of some hard plastic material similar to other models on the market.This is a serious headlamp, perhaps a little more bulky than some of the more common brands out there, but when you use this, it's hard to use the less powerful smaller headlamps commonly found.

Headlamp stopped working 31 days after the date of purchase and 29 days after rcv'ing product. BUYERS BEWARE, light worked great but durability and longevity are TERRIBLE. I used this probably 10 times over the 29 days for a total of less than 5hrs. So within 5hrs the light no longer works at all! It was well cared for and not just thrown around in a toolbox. Astonished that a product could be this bad. If you want a product that lights up great, this is fine, but if you want to spend your hard earned dollars on a product that will last you longer than 5hrs TOTAL LIFESPAN, pass this product up and move on to the next item on Amazon.You guessed it too, 31 days is 1 day beyond the RETURN period so Im back to scrolling through other products once again. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT otherwise you could be shopping for the same thing again VERY VERY SOON!

I LOVE THIS HEADLAMP. I originally bought this headlamp to go on outside runs at night, and it is perfect for my goal! The lamp and the headband itself is adjustable and SO comfortable to wear. I was worried it would be stiff and hard, but it's soft and flexible! The light itself has about 5 different functions, all of which are great for different environments and situations. It's easy to turn on and off, and easy to recharge! I'm glad I went with this product for my nighttime runs!

This is absolute garbage from China. This worked for literally a few minutes and then began to shutdown after 1-3 seconds operation. Reliably, the light will turn on via the power button and within 1-3 seconds it will shut down. Total garbage, get a real head lamp. This thing is also the size of a football. Good grief. DO NOT BUY - BUYER BEWARE!

Very bright! I have a few headlamps and its great that it takes 18650 rechargeable batteries. They last so long! One thing this one has is a back small red signal light as well that can be turned on to constant or flashing. None of my other headlamps have that.

Item worked great. I usually get home late at night and like to take care of somethings outdoors, like cutting my grass. After charging the battery at work, i had item fully charged so that i could cut my lawn. Headlight was well balanced with light in front and the battery pack in the back. My previous headlight was top heavy and would fall forward and would have constant need to adjust, but not these. The charging was easy with my telephone usb charger. I love the fact that these are rechargeable. I had to replace the AA battery with my previous headlights.

Awesome light for the price, very powerful beam

I dislike that it fell apart, and I mean fell apart completely. I would NOT recommend this product.
