Nice carafe
Holds a good amount of water (32 oz?) if you need access to water near your bed, or a stationary place. Glass also gives a pretty clean and crisp flavor. My partner hated the aesthetic, so we eventually donated this (we also don't keep a lot of glass in the house. I hate accidentally breaking glass and the clean-up). But if you like the aesthetic and need some motivation to drink more water, this would work out for you.

It's nice, but felt a little cheap.
This carafe does what it's supposed to do and it looks fine, but I just felt like it looked a little cheesy for my taste. I am not sure why it appealed to me more in photos than in person, but when I opened I felt like it belonged in a 1980s bachelor pad. It just wasn't me. That said, it's perfectly fine, if a little cheap-looking.

Modern Geometric Bedside Carafe | 2-Piece Set - Bedside Water Carafe | Glass Carafe with Cup that Doubles as Lid | Bedside Water Carafe and Glass Set in Black/Gold (37oz)This is a nice carafe and glass but it doesn't feel secure. The black is very opaque.

Looks nice, but lid sits loosely on top
The American Atelier Bedside Carafe is about twice as tall as a to-go 16oz coffee cup. It has an aesthetically pleasing shape and color. The very bottom of the container is actually clear. There are two things you will notice about it when you first pick it up. It has a decent weight to it; however, since the lid has an extremely loose fit, it rattles a lot when lifted/moved/etc. The lid wobbles whenever the cat brushes past it. There is some concern of it being knocked over, because it does not seal. There are quite a few labels on it. On the bottom is a clear label that is hard to see, "Nonabrasive. Hand-wash only". Another label on the bottom reads "S/2 BLACK/GD CARAFE + CUP SET WITH BUBBLES INSIDE AND PAINTED CUSTOMIZED COLOR, 4.52 x 9.96", 37.2 OZ. Made in China". On the side is yet another label that reads "Made in China. Fifth Avenue Crystal LTD."Overall, I think it looks nice, but I would have preferred if the lid had a secure seal. Even just a silicone gasket would have been good.

Great looking carafe, but the glass worries me.
I always have a carafe near my bed, so when I saw this, I really liked the style of it. First off, it is opaque. So if you’re going to clean it, make sure you have a bottle brush that can fit in and clean it well. Second, it’s glass. It was sent in a well packed box, but I definitely have glasswear anxiety. I keep it on the dining table instead of a bedside one.The glass does have weight and doesn’t feel light. The size of the top/cup is perfect for it.

Beautiful design accent for any bedroom or living room
The biggest advantage is that the lid serves as a cup. a fancy gold cup to say the least. Easy to clean and fancy. Will decor any living room space or bedroom. I use it everyday to drink water by my bedside.

Very reflective cup
Very classy from the outside and matches my desk decor. Quite nicely. A bottle brush was able to reach all nooks inside so no complaints about being hard to wash. The cup is honestly where most of my complaints lie. Since it’s not actually a well fitting lid the entire thing clangs against itself when carrying it anywhere. The inside is brightly reflective like it’s trying to be seen from space and the capacity is very small. About 3 oz. As a decorative top to a beautiful glass piece it works. But as a lid or a cup it’s not doing much of anything.

Nice looking carafe
This is very nicely made. I don't love how shiny and bright the gold top is, it's a tad gaudy. It also does not close securely to the bottom piece, so if you knock it over the lid will just come off. I don't love that either. It seems like it would just make sense for there to be some way for the lid to snap closed. Overall though, I do like it and there are no chemical or otherwise weird smells to it.
