This little gadget lets me use my cell phone and tablet as SD card readers. This allows me to view contents remotely and quickly. I use it to check game cameras in the woods. The only downside is that the plug that actually inserts into the phone or tablet is a little short.....although probably a standard length. I have a heavy armour cover on my phone that prevents me from being able to insert the plug far enough. I have to remove the cover to use the reader. My tablet has a thinner cover ande it works perfectly. If not for this, I would have rated it 5 stars. A card reader for less than $5 is great. I don"t know how durable it will be, but my first impression is that it is an exceptional buy.

I ordered this card reader primarily to transfer files between my desktop computer and my Creality Ender 3 V2 3D printer. This card reader is great as it accepts both micro-SD and full size SD cards. The USB-C connection helps improve compatibility with newer devices and make it more friendly to use in laptops with limited ports.I also use this card reader to transfer video files from my GoPro to the desktop, and it excels at this task with pretty decent transfer speeds. However, as many of the reviews have stated, the overall footprint of the card reader is quite large. You do need to make sure that this card reader will fit properly in your setup without interfering with other ports.

I used the Ivshowco USB C memory card reader to access files from a memory card that I plugged into it and it worked with my Chromebook without any problems at all. I also tested this with my Android phone and it was readable immediately and I was also able to access my files this way. I locked my SD memory card before doing so with both devices and there were still no accessibility issues. Speeds using this memory card reader are much faster for me than when using a traditional USB A connection.The memory card reader is highly portable and can fit into a pocket or definitely any travel laptop bag or accessory bag. I think the construction of the card reader is pretty sturdy and can withstand impacts or slight drops without an SD or micro SD card connected. I accidentally dropped it onto a hard surface and it still worked without any issues.My main reason for choosing this memory card reader versus one with more card and input compatibility was for its simplicity and portability. Its small size and construction means that I can take it almost anywhere and use it exactly for my needs.There was absolutely no friction when inserting or removing my SD card with this memory card reader.

This is like the Swiss army knife of card readers, a MUST HAVE!These days as computers are manufactured to be thinner and lighter, they are removing some of the very features you need like an SD card reader. I work in IT, am a Drone hobbyist, use Raspberry Pis, have multiple GoPros, and the one thing all of these devices have in common are using Micro SD cards for storage. The only problem is my laptops don't have SD card readers. Even my Desktop doesn't, so I scramble for this reader. Just plug it into your USB port, and insert your SD, Micro SD, or as they call it overseas your "TF card", and you'll have instant access to your images and videos.The only problem is I keep buying these, and they disappear faster than my socks. People borrow them, they vanish from my desk, or I forget where I place them.... So the only thing that would make this better is to make it out of metal so I could hang it from my key chain.I definitely recommend this product, and I would buy a few of them if you're anything like me.

could not get reader to work on galaxy A53 Android phone.

This card reader can be used to read SD and Micro SD cards. The small and compact reader has a fast USB C 3.0 connector to use with most phones, tablets and computers. I've used mine on an iPad and MacBook with no problems. The connection is super fast and can move files very quickly from one device to another. The USB C connector has a removable cap, the card slots are uncovered so be careful you don't get dirt in them. There is an included keychain cord/clip to help keep track of the reader.Would recommend this to anyone.

The Ivshowko 2-in-1 Micro SD Memory Card Reader functions very well as far as I can determine after a month of use. It is compact and the included lanyard will really aid in preventing accidental misplacement of the reader as it is so compact, it may be easily overlooked or lost! The USB connection is thoughtfully protected from dust and damage when not in use by a removable cover. The USB port on the side of my HP Laptop is in between the HDMI port and the Headphone port. All three are closely spaced, to the point when this reader in in use, neither the HDMI port nor the headphone port can be accessed because the reader overlaps physically with these other ports. As long as no plan for accessing these other ports is made while using the reader, all is well! Otherwise I would have given this reader all five stars!

Gut um Micro SD aus dem Smartphone auszulesen. Für Backup, oder um auf eine größere Karte zu wechseln.In meinem Fall von 128 auf 512 GB.
