Color:6 colors What is Kazoo? The familiar sound of pitched buzzing comes from a popular American toy and musical instrument called a kazoo. Children and adults alike hum into this small, handheld object that produces a buzzing quality through a vibrating membrane that is activated by the player's voice. Pitch and volume are controlled by the person doing the humming. A kazoo is a bit like a simpler, childhood version of a harmonica in that its construction is simple and small. Any amount of musical exposure will have its benefits, and a kazoo is one of the easiest instruments to pick up and explore your own musical abilities. How Kazoos Work? A kazoo works by producing a buzzing sound, usually via a piece of wax paper that vibrates in a hole at the top of the instrument when someone vocalizes through it. Because kazoos make music using vibration from a membrane, or a thin, taut layer of material, they are technically considered "membranophones" and are thus in the same instrument class as drums. The kazoo is a unique instrument no matter how you look at it. Features: aluminum alloy is polished, the surface of kazoo is smooth and delicate. Simple design, fix in hand of an adult. A good gift for kids or music lovers. Assorted colors also includes assorted manufacturers it seems
Ordered these kazoos as party favors for my daughter’s birthday, and they are nice bright colors and at least half of them worked well. The strange part was that the ones that worked well look like they’re made by one manufacturer, and then there are others in the pack that appear to be made by a completely different manufacturer, and those ones don’t really work. I don’t understand why they would be packaged together. (For reference, the solid colored ones work the best. There are others wrapped in individual plastic wrap with white circles on the tops, and those don’t make the proper kazoo sound when you sing into them. They do it slightly but not nearly enough.) For the purpose of party favors for excited kids these worked well, but for a music teacher or anyone else who wanted a whole set of working kazoos, you’d only end up with half of them that you wanted to use.

Odd variety and packaging
It was not only assorted color, but also assorted manufacturers.I got two different kind of kazoos, four of one, and six of the other. The two kinds had different diaphragms, and the 6 works much better than the other 4. However, the 4 had an external plastic packaging, while the 6 didn't. I washed the mouthpieces to make sure the 6 was safe.I guess I get what I paid for. Overall, it's still a good deal.I do regret giving one of them to one of my friends, who is now playing it non-stop whenever possible, even when driving.

they now sounded just as crappy as the
These are cheap but they got the job done. You get what you pay for. I will say that I thought that a couple of them didn't work but then I went through and tested all of them and once the bag was empty, I noticed that the thin plastic diaphragm had fallen out of several of them and was sitting in the bag. I put them back in the two that didn't work and presto! they now sounded just as crappy as the rest

Not true to listing.
Not even close to the colors that were shown in the listing. The kazoos I got were ugly colors, not the cool colors in the listing. Solid colors not two tone. Two of each color, instead of all different colors, like the pictures in the listing. Waste of my time to order and then have to return.

Great purchase
I was reccomended to buy some musical instruments by my son’s speech teacher to help improve muscle tone in his mouth/lips. After some searching, I found these. I’m so glad I got them- there are so many, and at such a great price that I’m not worrie about my 2 year old destroying them (which he hasn’t- even better!)

If you think you can't sing, you can always kazoo
Yo you guys, these kazoos are dope. If you're considering the metal ones, DON'T DO IT. If you understand the physics of a kazoo, you can tune these bad boys right up. I received a package of them as a gag for a bachelorette weekend and same issue - some did not work. You can unscrew the cap and reset the diaphragm or tighten it up until it sings. I'm all about these things and the plastics are the way to go in terms of durability and consumer ease-of-use. I say go for it!

Best Christmas ever
You would've thought my grandson had won the lottery when he saw his package of kazoos. He kept saying thank you over & over & hi aunt a great big hug & kiss. He played with it the rest of the night and wasn't real in anything else. His mom told us on Christmas morning he woke up and started playing the Kazoo. He opened his other presents including a phone without much excitement and said I got a kazoo and he's 11 yrs old. He brought it to our house at Christmas dinner & came in playing it. H also loved the Original Kazoo that is aluminum.

Had fun with these
Got these as part of our Holy Humor Sunday. The kids had a blast with them, and the choir even used them for one verse of the song they sang that day. Have them boxed up ready for next year.,
