Snow Family Musical Christmas Carol Sound Clock - 8"

Very cute clock and the carols are pleasant to listen too. Really like the fact that it has a light sensor on it and will adjust the volume at night or when it is dark in the room. This clock is so unlike other musical clocks were the music is high pitched or mechanical sounding and blares out loudly in the middle of the night. I have had mine for 10 years and it's always been a highlight for the kids to pull it out of the box each year. I ordered this one for my daughter who is married and on her own - she wanted one to start the tradition with her own family. Words of advice: Keep the box to store it in and keep the instructions taped inside, there is a very specific way you have to put the battery in to make the carols play on the hour.

This clock is pretty for the Christmas Season. Even with brand new batteries, it does not have a good sound. It does keep good time but wish the sound was better.

I gave Christmas clocks to a lot of my friends several years ago. One, in particular, wanted to know where I got them so she could order a spare and not miss a single day of the cheerful Christmas tunes, every hour on the hour. I bought this one as her back-up clock, and will give it to her for her November birthday. It's a great little clock. Mine is still ticking away, wishing me a Merry Christmas every day. Gotta love it!

I have another Snow Family Musical Christmas Carol clock which I inherited when my sister died. I wanted another one as both my daughter and son are interested in having it.My friend took delivery of it for me in PA as it could not be shipped across the border as it is considered an 'electrical component?' It plays Christmas music on the hour. It is missing only one thing and that is an insert that fits on the bottom of the back of the clock so that it can sit on its own. I am sure that I will be able to rest it 'against' an object and it will be fine.My friend let me know that the second one I ordered is in much better shape than the other one that had been sold as 'like new' and 'prime.'Barbara

I bought this for my elderly parents who are hard-of-hearsing, and they could not hear it at all. There is nothing wrong with my hearing, and I could barely hear the music. I totally wasted my money!

Having owned a similar clock by the same manufacturer before, when the old one stopped (after 16 years) I decided to get another one. The old one played the same Christmas Carols as the new one, however the new one is very tinney sounding where the old one had a "soft bell" sound. Very disappointed

A friend of mine has this clock, and I always loved it. When I found it here, I was thrilled. Got the okay from my friend and bought it. The snowmen are darling, and the different X'Mas tunes on the hour give a nice musical sound. I haven't tried this out, but there is a sensor for when it's dark that turns the sound off. A lovely decorative item for the holidays. Very pleased.

Too small but I would sell recommend .
