This thing hardly transfers any heat at all. even with the induction temp set to 460 degrees it barely got warm.

Handle is a little too wobbly

An induction stove uses much less electricity that an electric stove. The problem has been that not all pans work with an induction stove. With this little device you can use any pan in your kitchen! The good news is that it is inexpensive! Pans are expensive but this device lets you use all of them without replacement!

I got this to use with non-induction cookware on my induction burner. It kind of works, but takes a very long time to heat up, and cannot get a water to boil in a 6 quart pan, but i have no problem in my 12 quart induction ready pans. It is fine for medium and low cooking, but not high temperature work.

I was new to cast iron and am so glad friends told me about getting one of these so my stovetop did not get ruined.
