The media could not be loaded.  Been looking in to getting a night vision camera for a while as i have a thermal imaging camera.I didn’t want to spend as much as i did on the thermal.over 2kBut wanted something that wasn’t going to be a complete waste of money.£360 was a reasonable amount i could afford to waste if it turned out rubbish.WRONG…..This bit of kit is awesome for the price,It can see a good distance for viewing, with a built in ir lamp. The video clip was shot at about 200 metersapologies for the jerky footage it wasn’t on a tripod just handheld, we were so excited to see badgers in a field and it was straight out of the box. literally within half hour of receiving it.Not an in depth review. but i can honestly say it’s as good as i have used that cost easily double the price.Used it on aa alkaline batteries and still going good but will switch to using Ni-Mh for even more time.There will always be good things and bad things people do or don't like, so you really have to do your research before you buy. but i cant really see any reason for the price of this unit for there to be much you don't like about it..

This Wifi monocular is a fantastic~ I purchased it as a Birthday present for my grand-dad.It came beautifully packaged in a nice looking, printed box. I’ve had very good luck with this brand in the past so this choice was a no-brainer~ he’s wanted one of these for quite some time.He was immediately impressed with its ability to provide Crystal clear viewing results in complete darkness. It’s viewing range is awesome too~ he can see his targets from great distances With amazing magnification abilities.It’s easy to operate~ It took him about a week to get completely comfortable with all of the buttons and functions.Wireless functions are pretty cool synced seamlessly with his iPhone 12.Upon initially opening it~ I was immediately impressed with its build construction- it’s solid and designed for outdoor, rugged usage. The monocular is completely waterproof. He’s gotten many videos and pictures in rough weather. Automatically date and time stamped.The battery life is terrific. He only Has to charge it every 3 days or so. It’s gotten a ton of use over the past couple of months and still operating like new.Decent amount of memory storage and he loves that he can use it in German.His footage has become a weekly event for the family to gather and see~ it’s a wonderful experience - Very happy with this purchase- well worth the money!

Gadgets seem to attract me for some reason I saw that this Brand had a new version of the tried and true regular WG-50. I wanted to see how it was. First things first, the manual is well written. The case is nice with a good deal of padding to protect the night vision monocular. It comes with a usb mini cable and a video cable Also included is a cleaning cloth and video cord.This hybrid unit comes with a wifi feature l found it a tad tricky but once you get it your readyYou can see live images on your phoneThe buttons are very good with a distinct click. Once you get the hang of it it's pretty intuitive.Wow I just had the device outside tonight. I'm actually pleasantly surprised. Even with the IR off and using available light from the neighborhood I was able to hone in on several features. Now in the dark with the IR on setting one it was enough light to see everything in my back yard. It has four settings. Setting four is a good deal. It lit up the whole yard. For me I prefer one or two. I even did a small video of the inside. I needed the light to familiarize myself with the buttons to record. If you're looking for a decent priced digital night vision that you can use with your phone or tablet, I'd check this one out.
