This train set overall is lovely. Made from good sturdy materials. Easy to assemble everything and my toddler enjoys using the set. My only complaint it that the battery powered train is not powerful enough to pull itself up the hill that comes as part of the track set. If it needs to be pushed up the hill it defeats the point of it being battery powered. It's definitely not the batteries as tried with brand new and decent brands.

For the price I wasn’t expecting much but wow the quality of the trains, tracks, trees and everything else is very impressive. Kids spend hours playing with it, so happy with this! Proper good quality

Ideal starter set for a young train lover

Only minor point train does not take the corner well but lots of pieces to play with

Purchased for my 3yr old who loves playing with it and you do get a lot of pieces in the set, however for nearly £40 the quality is not that great.The tracks don't fit snug enough they are quite loose to connect and the stilts for the bridge are rubbish, he gets very upset because they just balance the tracks on top it doesn't actually fit to hold it so it all collapses. Also some of the other pieces like the trees are cut really thin that slide in together but one of these has snapped already.The actual little train and crane are very cute and they have magnets so they stick together well, he likes the little truck and the loading/ unloading function there is a little string to go up and down.The fire door is useless, the wood piece cut for the door is too wide to fit into the plastic holder for it so we can't actually stand the door up.Overall it is more value for money than the leading brand on the market for wooden trains as you get more pieces for your money but it lacks in quality, if he didn't play with it so much I would have returned it

Box came damaged, one item was broken but no big deal still useable. If wasn’t a birthday present would have returned but no real need.
