Decent
This review will be a summary of many of the other reviews here.Bad point:1. As someone mentioned, the discs do not come on a spindle. They are very securely packaged for delivery, and I had no concerns when I received the item as to the packaging. However, once you open the pack to take a DVD out, the packaging becomes loose (esp after you take 5 or more out) and the discs tend to slip and slide around within the packaging. My son pushed the pack off the dining table and on to the floor, and the discs flew all over the kitchen, causing me major anxiety.....if they had been in a spindle with the cover on, the case would probably have bounced off the floor, but the discs most probably would have remained tightly secured on the spindle.Good points1. You can print on these discs right to the center.2. Reliable - I have burned 15 DVDs and ALL of them were good. This is despite the fact that I have had to pick all the discs off the kitchen floor as noted above.OtherThis is my first time using printable discs. The picture quality is very good. However, as it is printed on paper, it does not have the glossy sharp look of being photo paper. This will be the same with ALL printable DVDs and therefore is not a criticism of this particular set of DVDs. It was just a minor disappointment for a first timer who had been dreaming of having super sharp pics! Even when printing normal pics, printing on normal paper never produces the same look as printing on photo paper.Update 02 April 2013OK, so to get photo paper print quality, you need to get printable dvds with a glossy surface (search for "Glossy printable dvd"). Be careful though, some of them do not work with inkjet printers, so make sure you read the description/detail and make sure it works with inkjet printers! Obviously, they are much more expensive than "normal" printable dvds!.

Ritek DVD-R Full Surface Inkjet Printable (8x) 4.7GB 50pk Spindle
After viewing some of the negative comments concerning this product, I have to disagree with all of them.I've always used these discs since finding them to be more reliable then other like brands. You can expect an odd glitch or two in most products these days, but 4 bad discs from a batch 200 or moreis no reason in my opinion, to complain about quality.Just a quick tip for those who complain about burn failure. try burning at a lower speed rather than maximum. I burn mine at 8 and have not had one failure throughout. Another thing, if you are copying a disc, make sure that the disc you copy from is not badly damaged, this too often leads to failure. Set your burning properties at a lower burning rate and you should have no problems.I will continue to use Ritek discs by Traxdata, knowing that quality is the company's principle aim.As to the seller: prompt service...excellent packaging. Will use again.

High quality Printing on these DVDs
If you want a high quality print with true-to-life colours on your DVDs, then you will get excellent results with these ones from Ritek. I have bought many so-called 'Full Surface Printable DVDs' from other suppliers and have found they have a paler more transparent section around the central hole which is too obvious when printing a design in paler colours. The Ritek DVDs are the only ones I have found that do not have this more transparent central section but instead have a lovely consistent white surface all the way to the centre which results in a beautiful finish-no matter how pale, bright or dark your print is. Highly recommended if, like me, you want the best quality print on your DVDs.

Excellent Disks
Ritek DVD-R Full Surface Inkjet Printable (8x) 4.7GB 50pk Spindle These for me are excellent disks; I have already burned a few with no problems whatsoever. When burning my data I can write on the disks with a marker and the writing is perfectly clear, not like on some disks I've used.I haven't tried printing on them as I'm not really a fan of that, but I can imagine that they would be very good to print on too.The delivery speed was excellent, the packaging was also excellent, and I would highly recommend buying these. 5*+ for me.

Excellent DVD-R
The good - reasonably cheap DVD disks that work well. Ritek disks have a reputation for being compatible with most writers and readers. In my case I have a DVD HDD recorder that is ageing and the laser isn't as powerful as it should be. These disks are fine when other well known premier brands (and budget brands) regularly fail or get rejected by the recorder. I haven't tried to print on the disk however the surface is ok to write on.The not so good - absolutely nothing. I've only had 1 faulty disk which I think is reasonable at this price.

Beware - google Ritek G05 before buying
For years I've trusted Ritek discs after having read positive reviews. However, I've just been burning my first disc from this pack and my software identifies the disc as Ritek G05. I googled it out of interest expecting to read good things, but I'm afraid the opposite is true. There are many references to rapid degradation, despite initial good burns, so if you're looking to use these for long-term archiving, I suggest you do plenty of research first, then make your own decision. There might be a reason why these are so cheap.
