Exploring Creation with Zoology 2: Swimming Creatures of the Fifth Day, Textbook

My 8 year old loves this series for science. He can pretty much do it independently, but loves to share what he learns with me. Also, the experiments are usually doable and interesting. Would recommend this for science!

I really like this series of science books . We also had the Anatomy and physiology series last year. THey give a surprising amount of information in a format kids can still understand easily. My daughter enjoyed them, so it wasn't a chore to get her to do science. I'll say it again - I was surprised at how much information was given, in pretty great detail, yet not boring or dry. I really like this series.Arrived in a timely way. Was as described.

My children are 5, 7, and 9. We are reading the Zoology 2 book together and I am learning just as much as the kids are learning. We are always excited for the next days lesson. The zoology themed vocabulary words are a bit hard for my 5 year old but she is still learning and able to participate on her level. The reading can get kind of long for her but I think it is actually recommended for children over 6. She is able to grasp the concepts as long as we are patient to explain them and listen to her interpretation of them. It is easy enough to differentiate for ability level. I definitely recommend this book.

Was great for my kids ages 6-11 to use to study land animals. Activities to learn beyond the text included. Glad we supplemented with the 'notebooking journal' to give the kids more depth of learning.

I'm always hesitant buying textbooks used, but this was in great condition as described! Very pleased!

My kids and I enjoyed the astronomy book in the series so much that we finished it in just a couple months. We started this book right after. It has a lot of information, great photographs, and my boys (though they are very young) soak in the information quite well. However, it seems to have more terms to memorize than the astronomy did. It's not as easy to review over and remember everything. This isn't a bad thing, but I think the astronomy was easier for my young boys.

There is no doubt in my mind that Exploring Creation is one of the best textbooks I have ever used in homeschooling. It is very easy to teach and learn with them. the format is pretty much the same with the whole series. They also come with a journal packed with activities to engage kids more closely on what they have read. I am very happy with those books. My child loves them.

Such a great homeschool science curriculum. My children love learning about animals and they are enraptured by the beautiful pictures and easy to understand text that is written towards them without dumbing down language.
