Not bad but cable too short
Even with extension using this standing at an opening board it is too short. Very short cable. Apart from that it’s ok. The stand is pathetic so just be careful with it. Not bad for price

Useful little iron
I needed this for pressing seams out for the masks I've been making which are shaped, so a little tricky for a proper iron. This works very well.It took me a couple of goes to master how to hold it (like a pen) but it's fine and you can see what you are doing. The wire isn't very long so I have to use an extension. It's also a very stiff wire so I wedge it on my ironing board. As it takes 5 mins to heat up I just switch it on before I want to use it.The arrow head attachment was not obviously packed with the iron and at first I thought it was missing. However I had fallen out, fortunately into a bag of shopping so we found it when unpacking that. As I had read a couple of comments about these missing I wonder if something similar had happened to other customers, so please be aware to check package.

Setting one: 80°C @ 5min [] Setting Two: 125°C @ 5min
Reaches the average temp on both settings in 5 mins. Can see why it might not work well on thicker fabrics as there isn't much thermal mass in the ironing tip. There is a higher wattage (15/30W) 'pyro' version - maybe the ironing tip could work in that on its lowest setting?Tried out smoothing part of a 3d model printed in PLA, which it managed in a leisurely fashion (where an overhang had drooped a bit). As a positive this gave a fair amount of control.Had trouble getting a temp reading from the iron tip with an IR thermometer. From ambient temp a small piece of kitchen paper was put on it flat and after 5 minutes was able to measure surface of the paper at 80°C on setting one and 125°C on setting two, with it creeping about 1°C every 20s after that. When Ironing with setting two the temp stayed around 120°C.

Value for money but takes a while to heat up
This little iron is definitely value for money. I customised these converse shoes with iron on glitter vinyl. As others have mentioned, it doesn’t seem hot at first, but I think it just takes aaaaaaages to actually get hot. It was much better than using my regular iron or even my miniature iron for the small fiddler bits.Main con was, as others have stated, the stand is basically useless. If you stick it to a brick piece of plywood or slate, to give it more weight at the base it’s ok.

Using for leatherwork
I bought this to help smooth painted leather edges on bags, wallets etc. My choices were a standard creaser heated with an alcohol lamp or on a hot plate (hard to control heat) or professional electric edge creasers costing hundreds of £s. Then I saw this. So far it has worked very well for me, heats up fast, easy to hold and work with, my finished edges look and feel smoother.

Great Mini Iron!
This is a great item for any one who sews! A few reviewers here stated it did not get hot enough; I can only imagine their iron was faulty, as after a few minutes heating up time, this easily ironed flat my 100% cotton patchwork seams on setting number 2; I would use setting number 1 for synthetics. I only had to go over the seam once, and very little pressure used too! The spade head is great, as the tip easily gets between the seam, meaning you don't have to risk burning your fingers by holding the seam flat. The tool body is a nice weight, and comfortable to use. Also impressed by the finger guard; the Clover mini iron leaves a lot of the metal shaft exposed. Once unplugged the iron cooled quickly, which is good, so it can be put away quickly, and no risk of accidental burns. This is now sat on my sewing table, ready to be used when ever I need ironed seams!

Love it
So handy to have. I ordered this to make a patchwork bag, stocking and Christmas bunting for my daughter. It certainly hasnt disappointed me and I would say it's excellent value for money. A few reviews said it didn't get hot, it doesn't get as hot as an iron, however I didn't expect it to. I think those people weren't giving it chance to heat up properly, I must admit it takes ages to heat up fully. The stand also was an issue for some people, I personally found it great you just have to get it at the right angle.
