Two years on from buying this and I think it might be the best bit of equipment I have every bought! I use this daily and it's still perfect. Well designed, offering protection, security and with excellent ease of use - I'm never going back to using a bag for professional shoots!Original review:If you need this kind of case then this one is perfect. The double lock points enable me to lock the entire case to the inside of my car so now I'm not worrying about my camera and lenses when I go into shops etc. Looks better than rocking up with a bag for the kind of shoots I do and provides a ton of protection. Brilliant product! Super strong construction with nice chunky hinges, latches and handle. The lid has a high quality gasket that really does the job and seals the case tight. The internal soft case comes complete with dividers and handle and is very light. This allows you to take out your complete kit, (unlike the cut foam version). This case so far houses, 2 - Fuji X-series bodies and 5 lenses and still has room for at least 3 more lenses. Great for storing your kit and keeping out any trace of dust. For travelling it affords excellent protection, although I will also pack an empty camera bag, in which to transfer items for hill walking or long hikes when I don't want to carry the complete kit.

Had this for a while now and use the inner part as a receptacle for all my camera bits and bobs while the outer part has been fitted out with pluck foam and is where I securely and safely store all my expensive stuff, the bodies and lenses, which with micro four thirds kit, holds a lot of kit, plus I can put locks on if I want toHaving this means that I only take out the kit I want to use on any shoot saving weight and worry.....and I don't have to carry all my stuff all the time....and I paid a lot less that it is selling for now.

This case and divider bag combination provides excellent protection and storage. There is sufficient room for two DSLR bodies and eight lenses. The most useful factor is that the depth of the dividers is suitable for a 150mm prime lens, or a 300mm zoom lens to be inserted in an upright position. This allows me to have both camera bodies and almost my complete lens collection in the back of the car in one case (the exception lens would take up almost half the case on its own, but has a separate dedicated carry case). The protection of the outer hard case means less concern about impact or crushing from other items. Fully loaded this is rather heavy but it is not really designed for carrying long distances (backpacks are for that job). I am so impressed with this case that I am considering getting a smaller version for my old (but still active) film camera equipment to replace an old and rather worn aluminium case (1980s vintage).

This is a good solid case that looks as if it would stand up to very rough handling. It has a removable soft case that completely fills the inside of the hard shell. I am not sure why it is designed this way as valuable space is lost. I was dissapointed with the actual internal space available for storage. It safely takes my Canon 5 with its fitted standard zoom and then a flash unit and another lens. Plus room for bits of cables etc. So I keep this for planned outdoor work when the case is going to be on the ground and I want to protect the kit from the weather.

I buy quite a bit of camera gear from Amazon and have tried to find the perfect way to get that gear from A to B and back again. This case, the Vanguard 40D, is such a case. To go for a smaller size would not give a good return. To go for the larger version would be a waste - way too heavy when fully loaded, I would imagine. I can fit a Canon 6d ii along with a Hasselblad X1D, a Canon 400mm zoom, a Canon 24-105mm as well as a Canon 16-35mm and a Hasselblad 45mm into the case and still have enough room to pack lens hoods, batteries, etc into the 40D. When all kitted out it is not a light case but still good enough to carry through an airport to the check-in desk. The internal soft case with dividers is exactly what is needed to give this hard case a final touch of class. Maybe that's why this case has the price tag it carries. DON'T ROTATE THE AIR VALVE WHEN OPENING THE CASE.

Solidly built, not heavy, for my Sony A7 and four lenses plus a flashlight and some accessories.

Perfect camera/lens case. It holds and protects my Nikon D4 and several lenses when working. I have to work outdoors some times and it is totally water proof. The case is very strong and well made. It is slightly bulky compared to a camera bag, but offers far better protection. I also use it to store my equipment when not in use. A good all round product.

Der Vanguard Supreme 40D, Wasserdichter Fotokoffer mit Trennwänden schwarz, kommt bei mir bei Segelfotos aus dem Motorschlauchboot heraus zum Einsatz. Bei Wind und Wellengang kommt immer wieder Wasser über und  steht auch auf dem Bootsboden. Kamerarucksack oder -tasche wären sofort durchnässt. Im Koffer ist die Ausrüstung sicher und kann schnell entnommen und wieder eingelegt werden.Im Bild die Ausrüstung: Pentax K70 + 150-450 mm, Pentax K70 + 24-70mm, ein 55-300mm. Wichtig für mich war, dass der Body mit dem 150-450 mm mit der Gegenlichtblende hineinpasst. Diese ist mit mit wasserfestem Tape gesichert um nicht über Bord ins Wasser fallen zu können.

Ich habe mir den Koffer für Videoequipment vor 6 Jahren gekauft. Ist seitdem dauerhaft im Einsatz und schützt das Equipment sehr gut. Es passt natürlich kein komplettes Equipment mit Kamera rein, aber als kleiner Zusatzkoffer ist der Supreme 40D ideal. Wenn man nicht aufpasst und die Zipper der Innentasche beim Schließen zwischen Deckel und Außenkoffer liegen, brechen diese ab. Dafür kann Vanguard sicherlich nichts, aber es sei als Warnung erwähnt, denn mir ist es bei meinen beiden Koffern passiert. Die Innentasche ist gut verarbeitet und auch das Netz hält bis heute. Insgesamt ein gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis.

Schalen, Scharniere, Verschlüsse und Dichtung empfinde ich als hochwertig und stabil. Der Koffer wird für meine Ausrüstung zu klein. Allerdings fehlen Fächer für Speicherkarten Accus, Ladegerät, etc. . Nur ein Netz ohne! Unterteilung ist eindeutig zu wenig. So "fliegt" alles durcheinander. Größe reicht für meine Kamera und 3 Zoom-Objektive. Damit ist der Platz ausgereizt. Die Zipper vom Einsatz können die Dichtung beschädigen und sind gegen Schlaufen aus farbiger Schnur ersetzt, sodass ich die auch nicht suchen muss. Größere Koffer werden mit Ausrüstung zu schwer, sodass ich den Koffer noch einmal kaufte. Die besten Koffer, den ich jemals hatte. Der Koffer überzeugen.
