Don't step in dog poo
Lovely comfortable shoes that make you feel energetic and fit the natural shape and movement of the feet. Excellent in every way, but impossible to clean if you get them messed up, because the treads and complex and run round so the dirty water drains off into the fabric! I'm going to have to try washing them.

Very comfy for fibro feet
Ordered as I love to be barefoot but with my fibromyalgia I need something to support. This is the nearest I can get to being without shoes. They are sturdy, thin and flexible soles, and still support my feet with enough cushioning to not feel pain as badly. I have gone from sketchers with the memory soles and plenty of cushioning and initially was worried that it would be a problem and cause pain. I'm impressed that I've managed to keep them on for hrs and not feel too much pain. Keeping my eyes open for some winter waterproof ones now.

Good price point for a minimalist shoe
Minimalist shoes, despite being relatively basic, tend to carry quite a hefty price tag making it a bit difficult to enter the barefoot world. These are bit less pricey, but they are still a bit much for what they are in my opinion. I've had Vivo's in the past that lasted me a good few years of normal use, which were admittedly comfier and higher quality, but priced over 5 times what I paid for these. These Whittins are now, after a few months of daily use, starting to deteriorate. The soles are glued as barefoot shoes can't be really stitched like a good pair of boots, so they will begin to separate in areas that see the most flex. I'm also starting to develop a hole in the toe box, very small right now, but it'll get bigger I'm sure. These are good for basic wear, I've done hikes, runs, leisurely strolls and garden work in these. They aren't waterproof, they don't look particularly fashionable and for me they felt a little bit long. I would say usually you can stay your normal size with barefoot shoes, depending on manufacturers advice, but I definitely felt in these I could have jumped down nearly a whole size.I wear barefoot shoes because I had problems with my lower body and trunk in general, muscle tightness and quite severe pain in my feet and shins, as well as a horrendous lower back, tight hamstring and a pelvic tilt. Barefoot shoes don't magically solve these problems, but now if I go for a run and I run like the body is designed to, my feet don't cramp and my digitorums don't scream at me, nor my hips. I've been to physio therapists and spent hundreds on fancy running shoes, so a pair of forty odd quid shoes and some education into how my body has evolved to move has really helped.I feel far more stable in barefoot shoes, I have nearly rolled my ankle a few times and every time the lack of a thick sole means I can quickly adjust and carry on with no issues.Barefoot shoes might not be for everyone, but give it a go and see for yourself.

Great value barefoot shoes
I transitioned to barefoot shoes about a year ago having read how much better they are for foot health and overall skeletal health, but barefoot shoes are so expensive and I wanted some for my two sons so they can grow up with healthy feet. I have bought three pairs of these and they are excellent value for money and the sizing is generally spot on.

Feel great on my feet
I’ve been looking for a pair of those ‘barefoot’ trainers but was worried about the fit of the full toe ones. These are a great compromise - feel almost like barefoot, I wear them for my gym workouts, and they don’t cause a problem with my bunions. (If only all shoes were this sort of shape - then maybe I wouldn’t have bunions in the first place)I would definitely recommend these as a slightly cheaper option. Great value!

The velcro is too short
These have a velcro strip, I have to take the comfy insoles out to have the strip even reach a tiny bit. Undecided whether to wear them without insoles, cut strip off or purchase extra velcro. The cushion is nice, the teeny sq of velcro on the laces are good, I've not been out them in them yet, but they felt comfortable. But the velcro not reaching is a design fault.

Barefoot shoes an exact description
It takes some getting used to, there are some consultants who say this is good for feet, and podiatrists who disagree but i find the wide toe box so helpful with bunions. Bit tight to pull on but try them in small sections of time.
