The idea behind the Garlic Card was born in chef Herman Rasmuson's home kitchen. The simple task of grating garlic had caused him and other chefs trouble for ages. "When I watched experienced professionals beating garlic in a plastic bag or trying to mash cloves with the edge of a knife, I knew that something had to be done!". Out of desperation he started using his credit card to grate garlic. The result was perfect and the foundations for the Garlic Card were laid. So exactly what is it? GarlicCard is a small, plastic grater which grates garlic cloves quickly and easily. The result is a garlic puree which adds the delicious taste of fresh garlic to all types of food. GarlicCard has a patented, embossed finish which is gentle on the fingers and nails. It is dishwasher safe and measures 10cm/4in long by 5.5cm/2.2in wide and an overall height of 2.5cm/1in.
