The top swivels 360 degrees on a recessed dowel. The top is removable. The wood grain on this piece is incredible and we've left the saw marks, nail holes and knot holes to preserve as much of the history and beauty of this piece as possible. No two sides are alike. This is definitely a one of a kind piece for that one of a kind event! We cleaned and hand sanded to refine the surface and then we applied natural oils and waxes to protect the wood and bring out the various colors and detail.
