JWPet Company Arachnoid Ball Dog Toy (Colors Vary)

Right size for the small to medium-sized dog.

My 80 pound male Doberman loves this toy and it usually lasts quite a few months before I find tears in the webbing, at which point, it's time to replace it. The secret to this toy is that it's not a chew toy, it won't last. It's a play toy, an interactive toy for you and your dog. If you don't like to interact with your dog and just let him or her play by themselves....this is not the toy for you. My dog brings me this toy in the evenings after dinner and I place 2 rectangular shaped natural treats  Plato Farmers Market Natural Duck and Vegetables Recipe Bag Dog Treats, 14-Ounce  inside the webbing. He then spends 15 minutes trying to get the treats out of the toy. He loves to play fetch with it as well and jump on top of it with his front paws to make it squeak. If I'm not there to interact with this toy and him, he leaves it alone. BTW, my Doberman has been known to rip the tops off the Black Kongs  KONG Extreme Dog Toy, Large, Black  in a few minutes, if he's in the mood. He's shredded hockey pucks into a pile of rubber nibs in less than five minutes. He has no interest in doing that with this toy because it entertains him and he has to use his brain to make it squeak, and to get treats out of it.

My dog absolutely loved this toy like no other. However, the bubbles around the edges were just to tempting and easy to destroy. Which ruined the whole idea of the squeaker, etc..Sure wish a new design with the squeaker and spider webbing, minus the bubble edging would become available!

We have always been very happy with JW products and Amazon offers them for a good price. Our puppy had this toy for the longest time then finally chewed off one of the inner knobs. Not a good thing. All dog toy company's make sure they have the warning "not a chew toy, supervised play only". Well we decided to buy him another one and he loves it but after a few days he once again started chewing chunks off the inner ball. We know our boy loves to chew his toys and loves it when they squeak but they always end up in pieces.

our dog is funny about toys. it hated this one and wouldn't even pick it up. but she is that way about other toys too. I gave it to a friend of ours who has a golden and the dog absolutely loves it. plays with it constantly. so there you go. you just never know when it comes to dog toys and a dog.

This toy didnt' last the night, all the balls on the outside were destroyed quick. And once the first one goes there's no more squeaking so they get bored of it, and just tear it to pieces...

While out at the local dog park, my dog came across this oddly shaped ball. He loves to fetch and retrieve, and so he brings me a lot of different balls, but that day all he wanted to play with was this one. Fortunately the JW logo made it easy to find on amazon, so I ordered one for him. The ball squeaks, which is great because he loves squeaky toys, but the best thing is that the ball rolls and rolls when thrown with the nubs pointed at the ground. It is very well balanced and will roll for quite long distances. Also, the design means that when thrown the other way, it is very unpredictable in how it will behave, which makes it fun to chase. A great toy at a very reasonable price.

This is my third time purchasing one of these balls in perhaps 4 years as this is my pup’s absolute favorite toy. He notoriously destroys every toy no matter how indestructible, so, although this toy does not last forever, they do hold up impressivly well to constant chewing.One additional note: the color i received was not one of the three shown in the picture. Rather, it is a whimsical bright pink and blue. I found this to be a pleasNt surprise not a problem, but it is certainly relevant to note that “colors vary” means exactly that.

The ball lost it's squeak in 2 days but must have been a faulty product as my dog had not damaged it. The seller responded fast and well to my complaint. They could not replace it due to import/VAT regulations but gave a full refund.I have ordered another ball as my dogs really love the toy and the previous ball lasted for years. Fingers crossed the next one will be ok.

I just received the toy in the mail today and within 3 minutes my 4 month old German Shepherd lab puppy bit a hole in it. We were playing fetch and it took a few chews to break through the plastic. She has other JW products which she loves, but this one is not one of them. It looked like a fun toy, but I should have read the reviews before purchasing it.

The dog loves - so much so he's destroying it ! It's getting more and more eaten !! (grin)
