DCHOUSE 4L water distillers 304 stainless steel distilled water machine with timing function water purifier, 750W Pure Water Distillation Filters Purifier

This is my third counter top distiller, this one is great quality, robust and value for money. It's coated in robust plastic, which is a good option as I had issues with my last one rusting. It distills quicker than my last one which was more expensive. I do think it is slightly less in capacity though because its 4litres rather than 1 gallon. The only reason for the minus one star is that the water jug is very poor quality plastic, which would off leach into distilled water. Definitely invest in a better jug. Luckily I had two from my last distiller already, glass jugs are optimal, or at least better quality plastic. This model is much more robust, even than more expensive models however, I recommend. The spout for example is stainless steel rather than plastic, the plastic spout on my last, more expensive model had fractured. Also the plug sockets are deeper and more highly engineered. Distilling is relatively simple technology you do not need to pay a lot, and it seems sometime cheaper is better.

We love this product, the water taste nice, easy to use and relatively easy to clean. We had some rust issue with the stainless steel container. I contacted the seller they replied immediately. Unfortunately because distiller I originally ordered was out of stock they couldn't send me replacement. I am hoping they send the replacement as soon as they have it back in stock. I do recommend it, the product is good and the support is good as well.Update: I received the replacement. Very quick in sending the replacement. The customer service is very supportive.

Very easy to use. The distilled water is used for cleaning vinyl, in the coffee machine and diluting juice. The drinks certainly taste a lot 'cleaner'.

My original one star review is below.I have been contacted by the vendors and have been asked to amend my review.This is my new review.I returned the first machine and requested a refund.I used the refund to buy a second machine, the replacement machine has the same problem but with the exception that the power light on this one works. The power switch still seems to be always on and I still have to control the machine from the mains switch. The machine does always cut out once it has boiled dry. I suspect that the "switch" is in fact a thermal cut out device which resets itself once the machine has cooled.If this is the case then the instructions need to be amended to point this out or better still install a proper power switch together with the thermal cut out just like a kettle.Putting the problems with the switch aside the machine works well and I will continue to use.I have increased my rating to three stars, I not give it five stars as as it does not work as described in the instructions.The machine that I received was faulty, as soon as I plugged it in it started working. It seems that the power button is stuck in the 'on' position also the red power indicator did not illuminate.I considered simply operating the machine from the switch at the plug but I could not be sure (since the power switch is stuck permanently on) that it would switch off automatically when it boiled dry and so I was afraid that it might overheat and catch fire.I am returning it.

I've tried 3 of these.The first one would get hot then keep on getting hotter, without switching off. Dangerous, because it started to melt, good job I caught it early.The second one used to allow water into the electronics, shorting it out. Dangerous, becoming water and electricity are a bad mix. Got an exchange on that one.The third one, has now died after 7 months. It won't heat up the water.Now I need a new one, so I'm going to go for something better.

Hi love my distiller. Bigger than I thought, but good. Am a bit confused do I need to buy charcoal filter, as no where did I see it mentioned in the description. A bit surprised it don't come with any if needed.

This is a 5 star product. The water is so clear and is absolutely tasteless. The scum it leaves behind is disgusting. I feel sick that I've been drinking it happily for years.It's a big machine so it can take up a lot of space but it's worth it. It takes 3hr 10 mins to distil a full tank.I bought some nutrient drops to add in but I don't use them all the time as I can notice the taste.Also use the water for my face steamer. Face feels so fresh and clear afterwards.
