I am surprised by how much I love these socks! They are so much nicer than I was expecting in several ways (1) height, (2) fabric, (3) overall look, (4) light-medium thickness. They are also an amazing value for a 4-pack at this price. Overall, I think these are basically the holy-grail for light knee socks for me, and I'm 100% going to buy more.First, these are truly knee socks--they actually cover my knees if I pull them all the way up as far as they will go (I'm 5'6). You don't have to wear them that way if you don't want to, but I like it when knee socks aren't too short, so this is a big selling point for me.Second, I also really like the fabric. I love 100% cotton, and the product listing says these are 75% Cotton, 19% Polyester, 4% nylon, 2% Spandex. So they've done the blend really nicely, because they feel great. There's a 'slimy' kind of feeling that many cheap socks have, and these DON'T have that at all. They feel cottony, plus some stretch. Perfect.I love the simple look. No branding anywhere--YAY! It's important to me that there isn't a giant brand name across the top of the foot. These are just simple gray and black socks without any branding, which is terrific.Lastly, I like the thickness. They are light-medium weight, which isn't easy to find. I have plenty of thick winter socks & don't need more of those. I need socks that are thin enough to fit inside all my shoes without problems, and keep me warm without overheating. These are a goldilocks 'just right' weight for me. They are thin enough to wear with all my shoes & not make me too hot, and thick enough to feel substantial.A quick note for Amazon, if anyone is looking: Please don't change these in any way!!!!! Except many some additional colors.

It is almost impossible to find knee high socks nowadays, so I was happy to find these on Amazon. I bought the women's size 6-9. The bad news is that these socks are too big for a size 6 foot like mine. They seem to be about 1 inch too long in the foot and 1 inch too tall on the calf. However, they scrunch up to the appropriate length without causing much problems. The good news is that the elastic is strong in the top inch of the sock and it seems likely that elastic will stay sufficiently tight for a number of years. That is the most important aspect of knee high socks -- they must stay up and not fall down to my ankles. So I am satisfied. I would prefer, however, for the manufacturer to offer a smaller size of these socks for women. I would say that the ones sold as fitting sizes 6-9 truly fit sized 10-12 instead. The feel of the socks is very nice.

The knee highs are soft and warm, they stay up, no slipping down. Very good quality. When I purchased in early December they were $8.30 for the package of 4 pair. I went back to order another pack of 4 and Amazon had raised the price to $13. Shame on you Amazon!

I really like these socks. They are plenty long, they have enough stretch to stay up well with out being too tight. I am 5'6" tall with slender legs. I have washed them several times and they have washed up nice without loosing any elasticity. They are a good weight to wear with shoes without being too bulky. The feet are a good length for my feet- size 8.5 shoe and don't bunch up. I would definitely order these again.

These are great socks - they are a little thin for hiking but perfect for work in an office or at home on cold days. They stay up and don't pinch. I love them!

The top band on the sock is too tight and my legs are thin.They are warm and soft, but long for a short person.
