Great Fun, Refreshing Gameplay, Fantastic Graphics, Crazy Game
Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare is a tactical third person shooter with a twist, the game is crazy with multiple customization options. Many people have described this game as 'CoD for Kids' and to an extent this game is marketed towards a young crowd but me personally being in my very late teens I personally like the game and actually find it a refreshing taste from the usual shooters that plague the market today. Its surprisingly very tactical and you do have to think about how to deal with specific situations and choose your characters wisely. The game runs at a native 1080p and with 60 FPS which is a great accomplishment on console as most games out currently only run at 1080p with 30 FPS.The game has several modes:Welcome Mat, a simple Team Death Match style designed for new players to get a feel for the game (doesn't have character customization or new types)Regular Team VanquishVanquish Confirmed a Kill Confirmed Style game where you have to collect orbs once you've vanquished an opponentGnome Bomb - Enemies fight for a Gnome Bomb to destroy each others garden or Tombstone.Gardens and Graveyards - Plants defend against zombies who must try and capture the basesSuburbination - A new game mode launching soon on PS4 (at the time of writing this review)Mixed Mode - Your typical Moshpit with multiple game modesThe game also offers 'classic modes' which is basically the starting plants with zero customization. The game also features a co-op mode called: Garden Ops where plants must plant a garden and defend the garden against several waves of AI zombies and the occasional boss. The game is also very balanced as no class is above another. However as it is a tactical shooter, some do better in some situations than others. I won't list all character types but you have a character for all situations.Overall plants vs zombies is an amazing third person shooter that brings a refreshing change to all the shooters you see today. I'd suggest anyone pick this game up, who is looking for a new game and a break from the traditional shooters as this game is a 100% Crazy. I'll happily answer any questions, just leave a comment on this review and I'll get back to you ASAP.

Worth it!
I've been waiting for this since it was announced as I loved PVZ1 on PC and console. Though the fps genre is getting old this is a great refreshing way to play it once again! The humour is still there, the creativity is definitely there and all round it's just a fun game to play and you just lose track of time. The gameplay is smooth, with all the characters being pretty balanced (some weapons here and there need tweaking), customisation adds a whole bucket of diversity among players, even including different type of dances!Matchmaking was a bit dodgy for Garden Ops in the beginning but I believe that is sorted out now and is pretty smooth as well, with connection hardly ever being slow or laggy.Overall worth the money as I was amazed at how much I would enjoy this and with free DLC it can't get better! Well done PopCap!

Parents: Do not buy for young children
I will add my dissatisfaction to the pile of dissatisfied parents. This game requires not just PSN, but also an EA account. It literally will not do ANYTHING. It won't play a solo mode, a demo mode, or ANYTHING AT ALL, unless you have both a PSN account AND an EA account. It's shockingly bad. And if you've never done this before, you'll spend 20 or 30 minutes (assuming you don't read the legal terms and conditions, which you should, but no one does) just doing the stupid enrolment and all that.As a parent, you have to create child accounts for your children on PSN. Why? The parental controls should work without identifying your children. That's kinda the whole point. And you'll have to disable all the child protections to play this game anyways. If you do the sensible things like disabling chat and adult features for your child's account, this game will refuse to run. You'll have to enable the grown-up options, which defeats the entire point of having child controls in the first place. This game is clearly marketed at children, but it is incompatible with even the most basic child protection features built into the PS4. It's a flaming disappointment, and like other parents, I simply won't install it for my 7-year-old.

More fun than expected
Gother this after seeing it online time and time again. Glad I did.Gameplay is split into two main modes, garden ops and multiplayer. Garden Ops is a series of waves playing as the plants, one of four classes with different strengths, this can be played solo or upto teams of four. Difficultly can be changed too for those looking for a challenge.Multiplayer is where most of the fun is, those who have played Cod might recognise some modes such as team vanquish, gnome bomb and vanquish confirmed. Best one in my opinion is gardens and graveyards which is defence and attack gameplay. Each map very different with separate ways of approaching the objective or defending it.Which ever mode you play you have different skins and customization options open to you, which adds a bit more depth to the whole thing.Controls are easy to get your head around too, graphics are smooth and I have had no glitches or crashes while putting a lot of hours into this already.

So much FUN!
When this came out for Xbox One i was a little jealous as i thought this game looked so much fun and just something different and win or lose you can just enjoy yourself! So when it got announced for PlayStation i pre ordered straight away and i was right, this is so much fun!Plenty of maps and game modes to keep you happy. As for longevity, i would say it should keep its fun factor for a while. Im sure months from now i might fancy a blast on this for an hour or so just because its that enjoyable.Id say its better than that Modern Warfare game :D
