This has to be the best thing I’ve ever bought from Amazon. Now when Derrick the duck came into our lives , he did cause quite some commotion. I was at work at the time when it hit me what was missing from our lives was a giant rubber duck. Thank good for Amazon coming to the rescue. Now at the time I was in a hospital with very little mobile reception but thankfully I found a window I could open. Waving my iPhone out the window long enough I finally got enough reception to be able to make the purchase to make our lives complete ! At that exact moment in time i appeared to have ruined the day of the grounds men below who then started swearing at me thinking I was filming them.Moving on a day or so later, Derrick arrived, he didn’t look as happy as in the item description and we quickly established he needed his own hot tub. Thankfully we ordered one of those and he now spends his days bobbing about bringing smiles to all that see himGo on, bring a giant duck into your lives but be warned , you will need a hot tub too.

This was a daft gift for an extremely good friend (so I knew she would like it regardless!), and it has already brought much amusement to the recipient and her friends! The duck poses happily as the leader of the pack of bath ducks with the smaller (i.e. normal sized ones) following obediently behind. The image represents the product accurately. The plastic appears to be of good solid quality and amazingly the duck does actually float the right way up!Having said all of that, this probably isn't a practical toy for the bathroom with very young children. It uses up so much space in the actual bath, as another reviewer said, it is possibly actually designed for swimming pools instead. My friend evicted her duck from her bathroom for a few days in the garden sunshine and the plastic hasn't faded at all, which I was surprised with. We are now trying to work out a way of attaching the duck to be towed behind a boat without upsetting him too much, as it is probably better for his welfare that he gets some open water time occasionally!

He's such a cute duck. Perfectly at home in our tub. Just got to stop the child from stealing him now lol.

Purchased this duck to put a blue ribbon around his neck for a new baby boy (They get lots of soft toys, this was cute and a bit quirky and mum and dad can put it in the hot tub) really thick plastic, I thought the price was expensive but not when you see it. Very pleased. May treat myself to one! Thank you

Big duck!!!!!

It's a massive bath duck.I just wish the eyes looked forward rather than to the side. Fortunately where we have it on display the eyes sort of make sense but if it were facing to the left the eyes would be towards a wall.

Best thing I’ve bought in ages,my six month old is mad for rubber duckies thanks to Bert and Ernie. I’ve hunted high and low for the original rubber duck form Sesame St to no avail...found this beaut and can’t say how delighted she was on Easter Sunday to see this fine ducky specimen left by the bunny! He is huge,floats beautifully and looks fabulous...super happy mummy and six month old! 🐥
