Does this give any warning noise if freezer door left open

Hi there -- No, it does not give out ant warning noise

For the freezer, do you keep it inside or do only you just put it in when you want to measure/check the temperature.

Only use mine in the oven but I consider that any freezer thermometer should stay in all the time to stabilise at the freezer temperature and provide a reliable reference when needed.
