Sturdy pieces and sharp images make their puzzles a breeze to assemble

We are big Ravensburger puzzle fans as we find the quality to be one of the best. This was our first dabble into a 2000 puzzle, and wow, it was a challenge, but a good challenge. We thoroughly enjoyed. True to the Ravensburger quality, the pieces were well cut, the color was bold and the edges crisp.

The contrast of the blue background with so many different colors and great drawings was quite fun to put together.

This is your standard puzzle piece shapes. They are a good thickness and have a nice feel. There isn't really any glare on them which is nice. However there were a lot stuck together while separating and they weren't pieces that go together. There are a lot of false fits which is extra frustrating with a big puzzle like this. When trying to separate the false fits or the pieces stuck together the cardboard would start to pull apart from itself, no matter how careful I was.There is no poster or anything included so you do have to go off the box, which is fine. Also there aren't any letters to assist if you are having problems with a larger puzzle like this, like some puzzle companies do, which is fine since it just adds to the challenge but be aware of it.The picture does have a lot of similar colors but enough variation to assist with the difficulty, which is nice especially with all the false fits.Overall it is an okay quality puzzle. It is a good challenge but the false fits are very annoying. That and the pieces coming apart when you try to separate them from the false fits. I had higher hopes for such a big name in the puzzle world.

Although I haven't put this together yet, I have gazed up the pieces and the picture and cannot wait to get started. This is intricate and lovely. The artistry is spectacular. I love Ravensburger puzzles for the quality of the pieces and overall puzzle. This constellation puzzle will definitely be glued together and hung up after putting it together. It is 2000 pieces, so it will take a while for me (probably why I haven't started yet, definitely a winter project), but it will be so worth it! This would make a great gift for a puzzler or for someone that is interested in astrology and constellations. I highly recommend!

This isn't a particularly easy puzzle, but I like it quite a bit. Some constellations here I've never heard of. The pieces are good thickness and fit well. They also have a nice matte finish, which I personally prefer to glossy puzzles. The big benefit here is the crisp image. Some larger puzzles in our collection are a bit blurry, but this one avoids that problem.There was more dust here than I would have liked, but it wasn't extreme. Probably right in the middle as far as that goes. The big detractor is the lack of a picture/map, especially for a puzzle this size. I don't understand why a quality company like this would overlook such a helpful detail.
