Napoleon Grills Uk Charcoal Smoker Tray

Product arrived well packaged. However, minimal instructions for use. Having ordered this, I then read a number of reports of these items cracking when used. There is no info for the product anywhere on whether the tray needs to be gradually warmed up, or seasoned at all ? I would hazard a guess that if this is put on the bbq and the gas just fired up too high, thermal shock will crack the tray. Any comments from Napoleon, supplier or other purchaser welcome ? Where are the instructions for cleaning, care and maintenance, health and safety for operation ?

Have had this for over a year now, load it with lump wood and put it straight on the gas bars, Use the gas to light and voila instant charcoal gas combi bbq, great for shutting up the purists,highly recommended

Charcoal tray appears well built but unfortunately on the first use the heat of the charcoal and flame to alight the charcoal led to the tray fracturing. It still works but not exactly what you would call good quality. Haven't used it since.

Good
