WG Retro11284 – Mug – Spectrum keyboard design

This was a gift for someone else, and he loves it. Well, he didn't say anything much about it but it has a spectrum on it and so he's happy.In my opinion, it looks good, price was good, and it is comfortable to hold. Printing looks good. Only time will tell how well the printing will last though.So, overall, it's all positive. I have nothing negative to say.

A standard medium sized mug (not a small mug like some cheaper alternatives) with a good solid print quality. There appears to be a slight half tone pattern visible where the colours meet, but this is good thing and hints that it was professionally printed and not a dodgy transfer. The branding within the mug is an unusual and noteworthy feature too. As a gift it went down well, and seems to be lasting well in daily use.

Fantastic bit of 80s nostalgia, also extremely useful for holding hot liquids like coffee or perhaps tea and it has a great fully functional ceramic handle on the side that can be operated by either right and left hands, which I thought was a nice touch. As a bonus feature the mug can, by even the most inexperienced user, be converted to hold cold liquids such as lemonade or orange juice simply my pouring the cool liquid into it (Quick tip : Remove hot liquids from mug first, as I learned from experience lemon-coffee-ade is not as refreshig a pick me up as you might think).The colours on the cup are a little subdued, for example the blue above the number 1 key is closer to purple and red is more orange. Hence the 4 stars, if the image was a litttle sharper and more colour accurate it'd be a five star product.So in closing, fantastic dual functionality mug and looks pretty good too.

Does what it's supposed to and looks awesome, brings back so many good memories

Drink your coffee (or tea, Bod forbid) in glorious 8-bit style with this rather nice mug. Great presentation for gift purposes, and a high quality mug and printing into the bargain. Mine's been in the dishwasher a lot, and shows no sign of wear. Even though I was Commodore affiliated as a kid, I still love the retro-ness of it :)

Very sad. Advertised As all black but is actually all white with a black print on it. I wouldn’t have bought it if I had known.

As a big fan of the ZX Spectrum back in the day, I'm unreasonably fond of Speccy memorabilia. And so when I stumbled across this coffee mug, I knew I had to have it. It's a normal-sized coffee mug, which is good. The print on the outside is bright and clear, and it's amused several others in the office. It's been washed any number of times and hasn't faded. The only thing is that mine's white on the inside, not black as per the picture.
