With a UPF rating of 50+ the Swim Cosy Wetsuit/Vest is made from high grade 3mm neoprene which has been specially selected to keep your baby/toddler warm and cosy in cooler swimming environments. A warm and happy child is more likely to enjoy swimming (or should we say splashing!) for a lot longer and the vest provides the valuable warmth when leaving the pool/sea for changing. We only use soft anti-snag Velcro which makes for a quieter and safer undressing experience, does not startle babies when removing or repositioning keeping your baby calm. Our Velcro is also a lot softer on delicate skin than regular Velcro and will minimise plucking if it comes into contact with your swim costume and other material. With a UPF rating of 50+ (independent lab test result) you are safe in the knowledge that your child is receiving additional sun protection against harmful rays, however, as an extra precaution we recommend applying sunscreen underneath the vest to avoid any areas of sunburn. Keeping the little one warm in the pool but with no zips!
I love to swim, but my wife hates it (bad experiences as a child), but she didn't want our little one growing up having the same fears she does. We looked at the over-the-head zip up suits that babies wear, but as our little one doesn't really enjoy things on his head (or over), we figured that trying to get him out of a wet suit would just be painful for all of us. We stumbled across these wetsuits and they are a breeze.There are a few tough velcro strips to keep the suit together, and provide some extra warmth. When we first took our little one swimming, we thought he may hate swimming or get cold once out of the pool but was nice and warm all the way. There is even a small amount of buoyancy in the wetsuit but nothing to write home about.It's a cold water hand wash but then it takes about 10 minutes to dry and ready for the next swim session.We purchased the teal ducks, and the colour is great and pattern quite subtle and would look good on a boy or girl.

Best one so far
We’ve had a couple of body warmers for swimming as our toddler has been swimming a while, and the pool is fairly cool. This one has been great. It’s soft and flexible material, with Soft Velcro that doesn’t destroy my clothes as I change or carry him about. The pattern is great, and it’s essy to put on. Keeps him warm for the whole session.

Does the job and fits perfect!
I have purchased another companies swimsuits which close on the side and was dissapoonted with that as it ia much better and more comfy for the baby to have a centered closing as on this companies product. My baby is a bit skinny (almost4 months old) but fits perfectly. Especially the bottom bit closes without leaving gaps which I have with other brands. So these two aspects make the swimming suit the best for my baby. After i found identical style in more designes was a bit upset but pricewise it is worth the money as really much cheaper than other fancy colours in different suppliers

Big sizing
Lovely product for my little boy to use in his paddling pool and when we go swimming. We ordered the orange dinosaur print and it’s bright and fun, perfect for little boys. My only issue would be sizing. I measured my little boy and he measured as an XL but on arrival was way too big and had to swap for the L instead. I would order their regular clothes size E.g. 12-18 or 18-24 months rather than the measuring chart.

Great buy
Took this to Mauritius where the outdoor pool was chilly (outdoor temp about 26C) It was easy to put on and got fit 5 month old well. When I removed it I could feel that he had been kept snug and warm and never caught him shivering or getting cold. Also I felt with the vest I had a better grip on him then his swimsuit alone. I’m so glad I bought it as it would have been a disappointment if we couldn’t take him into the pool with us!

Way too small
Too small! I bought 6-12 mo this for my 5 months baby and it was way to small to use it. Unfortunately you have to pay for the return delivery which is almost the price of the product, so I did not returned and will try to give it to somebody else.

I've returned it
Previous reviews say that it is actually smaller than the size, but it is not true. For us it was way too big, despite I bought the correct size and my daughter is on the average on the grow chart. Also, it is a very thick material, I cannot imagine that is is too comfortable to move in it. Additionally, it might be easy to put on a baby as it folds flat, but it is difficult to put on a toddler for the same reason, and my 15 months daughter always wanted to take undo the velcro and take it off, which I suppose is not really safe in the water... After all, we've returned it. I wouldn't recommend it to buy as it is too thick and rigid, and while it might be easy to put on a baby, it is not easy to put on a toddler.

Stylish and fits well
Needed something to keep my son warm during swimming lessons as the air was a bit cooler than the water and he was shivering. This looks a bit big on him but the Velcro means I can easily adjust to fit him and he will have plenty of room to grow. Love the duck pattern - looks very stylish. Would consider buying again once he has grown out of this one.
