Bought the watch for the dial and not disappointed. The red details on the minute hand and chapter ring set off the color fade from blue to black dial and is stunning in the sun. Good bezel action and no alignment issues. Case finishing is excellent and the drilled lugs make strap changes easy. The dual color lume on this watch stands out from other Seiko divers and is bright and long lasting. The blue strap that comes with the watch is good looking and comfortable but does collect lint. Wears well for a bigger watch. Feels heavy on the wrist but I prefer that to a light feel. Overall very happy with the purchase of this PADI edition.

Excellent value for money watch. Luminescence is top-notch and the silicone strap is comfortable and a subtle shade of blue.

This is a very good Seiko diver. I have been using this for some time now and I am very happy with it. The watch is very accurate and it is one of the most accurate mechanicals in my collection. The watch looks really good and has a very gripping dial.The rubber strap is XXL, so that it fits over a diving suit. This means that the rubber strap is capable of accommodating XXL wrists very comfortably.This watch is highly recommended if you are looking for a tool watch.

Purchased as a gift. The gradient of the blue to black textured face looks great. Quite a bit of detail to the texture. The colored anodized bezel goes well with the overall look. Doesn't require lots of force to turn, but solid unidirectional clicks. Quiet internal mechanism. Not cheap, but it definitely stands apart from the non-PADI standard version. Seller was Premium-Japan. I expected it to be a week or more (J to US), but it arrived in a few days. Factory new with tags and wrapping. Recipient is very happy. Will report back if any unexpected problems.

I was attracted to this watch when I first saw the photos. It looks even better on the wrist.I really like the dial face with the wave pattern transitioning from blue to black.The only thing I don't like about the watch is the strap. It is too bulky looking for the watch. I bought a 20mm Barton black leather strap with red stitching, and it looks great.
