Eyes opening stuff
I’m completely new to project, and management as such, as being promoted to one. This is excellent basic draft if what is involved in project leading, written very light and transparent way. No complicated language, no waterfalls.Very good reading.

The best book
I have read too many books including the professional books on project management . When you read those either you get bored or you quit reading and takes long time to decipher. However, this book is so interesting to read and it is so easy that any layman can understand and relate it to. Do you want to know the project management in one day? Go for this book. I must thank the author of this book for making things easier.

Very useful book
This book is worthy of review. How nice it is to get a book which actually delivers on its promises rather then be a disappointment. This book at 200 or so pages, is nice and quick to get to grips with rather than other huge project management books. The info is to the point and what u need to know to make a project work without a load of pain down the line, for instance not properly getting all stakeholders expectations clearly mapped and agreed at the initiation stage of the project.Follow all the guidance in this book and your project is not going to backfire with you taking the blame.I very much recommend this book. I think the difference is I have used this book as the template for a recent project and what a difference it made. Rather than projects keeping me awake at night, I can handle it with this.

If you want to get the job done and don’t care about certificates, this is the book for you
As an enthusiastic BA thrust into a PM role, this was the book I needed. All it needed was a DON’T PANIC sticker on it!Very. clear and well laid out - straightforward instructions on laying solid foundations for your project with good case studies. I’ve survived my first PM assignment.

Its only okay...
I've read first 3 chapters, and so far it's just not giving much info on ACTUALLY being a good project manager and doesn't go into the detail of being a project manager and what you do as one, etc. For example, I would've expected the book to talk about methodologies such as maybe Scrum, Agile or Kanban, but it hasn't.3 chapters in, and it's like one of those spam 'free training' videos that says like "this video will tell you exactly how to ____, I promise. I followed this approach and it helped, just keep reading and I promise you'll learn it too". It just keeps repeating what the book will tell me, but I'm not getting to it yet. It's like, cut to the chase.I recommend the 'Project Management: Crash course book by Umer, instead

And excellent overview for those wishing to learn or get into Project Management
This is a welcome addition to the plethora of Project Management books out there. It is a short, easy read, and what makes this book excellent is that it focuses on the concepts and not the templates - but gives you just enough to learn how to manage a project end to end. This should be the first book for anybody new to Project Management
