Going strong- even after 3 years of use and abuse!
This is a great watch for the price.Been using it for almost three years now as my rough-n-tumble watch when I am doing sports or other heavy physical activity like gardening or diy. . It has stood up astonishingly well to a lot of hard wear.Having said that, it is also relatively smart and once or twice I have even been asked if it was a Rolex because of the similar style of the watchStill looks great. Hardly any surface wear or scratches. When I first got the watch, I was concerned about the lighter weight feel to the metal strap. No need. Tthe lighter weight metal strap is very comfortable to wear and very strong. The time is really easy to read with an uncluttered face (no need for reading glasses as with some busy watch faces!!) and luminous paint to the hands and hour markers. No faults or problems to report after three years of hard use, quartz movement is effortless and keeps 100% accurate time still on original battery.Impressed - either as a tough good looking everyday watch or as a watch to wear for tough work conditions and active sports .No hesitation in recommending.

great value for price
Bought this as my Traser was away for repair. Waterproof, tough, strong starp and looks OK. Is now my reserve work watch.

Cheap desk-diver with a rattly bracelet.
I decided to take one for the team. This watch has no reviews, and only one picture, which is a render, and next to no dimensions anywhere, even on Accurist's own website. The case is 45mm, not including the crown, it's 13mm thick, and 53mm across the lugs. As I only have 6 1/2" wrists, if I'd read those numbers, I probably wouldn't have bought the watch, but it wears surprisingly small. The lugs have a deep down-curve, which really makes it hug your wrist well, and the wide bracelet evens out the proportions well. The bracelet is wide, 24mm between the lugs and 22 at the clasp. It does a good impression of a solid link bracelet, visually, but it is hollow links throughout, with all the rattly and scraping type noise that come with it. The bracelet wasn't too hard to size, and as the links are quite big, being able to make smaller adjustments on the clasp is a help, too. The clasp is a little thin and doesn't feel that great to use, but it's a locking clasp, which adds security.Does it look as good as the render? No. Does it look bad? No. It takes its style from classic Seiko divers, but it's unlikely to stand up to the sort of punishment those are designed for, but it's a step up from a department store fashion watch. The looks have grown on me, although the blue of the dial is a little flat looking, and the date inside the window looks squished in and a little "blah" (horology term)To give an unbroken line of colour, the bezel insert comes up right to the edge of the crystal, so from dial to chapter ring to the coin-edge of the bezel is an almost unbroken line of blue, which looks decent enough in general use. If you get up close with a loupe you can see the inner edge of the bezel insert looks a little rough. The bezel is not a great fit either, you can tug up at the edges and it feels like a good tug could pull it off (Finbarr Saunders), but it is a proper rotating bezel, which, as is usually the case with cheaper watches, doesn't line up perfectly with the hour markers. The bezel catches the light nicely though, and is just the right side of chintzy. At 100 metres depth rating, it's not a serious diver, but the lume could stand to be a lot better. The hands have much stronger lume than the markers, but it's still on the puny side. I wouldn't expect to wake up at 4am and be able to tell what time it is without turning the light on.As for the rest of the looks, the crystal has a very very subtle dome, which means it catches the light quite nicely at times. The crown guards and the crown itself look good, and the etched Accurist logo on the crown is a nice touch.Update: I've had the watch for a while now, and I'm still impressed at how such a big watch fits so snuggly without looking like I should an extra on PhoneShop. The very thin metal of the clasp still feels a bit cheap, and still pinches skin if I'm not careful. One other thing stands out to me after living with the watch for a while, the hour hand is too long and the minute hand is too short. They are different shapes, aping Seiko divers, but it does make it much harder to tell the time at a glance. I paid $40 for mine, and I've seen them as low as £35. I can't believe they're asking £99.99 for these now, though. Don't pay that! :D

EXCELLENT WATCH - EXCELLENT VALUE!
This watch is superbly engineered and extremely easy to read with an “at a glance” face. Have absolutely no issues with the strap or fastening as some reviewers have complained, indeed, it clicks securely into place every time. Nicely balanced, bulky and masculine. Top quality at a truly bargain price.

Nice looking but strap is small.
Lovely looking watch great value for money I thought. Then it turned up and its so tight on my wrist I can't wear it.I know a local watch seller and he can order me in extra links at £10 for 2x. Plus fitting which makes this expensive for what is a basic watch. Quality of the strap is poor too, feels cheap. Bit disappointed not going to lie.

Excellent priced watch
For less than £40 this watch is perfect. Very comfortable and kept perfect time so far. To be honest I would potentially pay the full £100 for it value for money wise. 👍

ACCURIST obviously trading on past reputation, sadly no longer justified!
Bought this to wear whilst my 30 year old Rolex Submariner is being serviced. Had an Accurist years ago and remember it being a fairy well made watch, obviously I'm not comparing this to a Rolex though.Well firstly the bracelet; feels like it's made out of tin foil and doesn't have enough links or any spares supplied. My wrist isn't that huge, but in order to wear the watch I've now spent nearly as much again on a leather strap - even if the bracelet had fitted though I'd have changed it because it stinks of cheap tat. The rotating bezel; sticks half way around, not at all smooth. The luminescence; there isn't any, hold it under a lamp and it lasts about three minutes - absolutely useless, even my old Submariner can be seen all night and let's not forget that this retails for £100+ ........ a £50 Seiko or Citizen would have proper luminescence and would be far superior quality all round. I bought this because of Accurist's past reputation and because I did actually like the look of it - it's turned out to be a big disappointment though. I certainly wouldn't pay retail for it, but given the choice I wouldn't pay £10 for it now that I've experienced it - just hope it lasts a few weeks whilst I wait for mine to be returned from servicing, I wouldn't bet on it though and I certainly wouldn't recommend buying this. (I've had to add one star because it wouldn't let me post it, otherwise it would be zero)
