I like the light weight of the device and the hands free feature that fits comfortably around your neck. Did not try it on a table top. Did not find the magnification clear because the lens is made from plastic, not glass as advertised.

Very convenient
I bought this for my mom and she was so happy with this magnifier. She had been using the handheld, round magnifying glass to read ，and she always need to move it from left to right. Now with this neckwear, rectangular shape magnifying glass, she can read a whole page without holding it. Great! Free her hands !
