This product is OK but requires patienceIt is very thick and gloopy (like thick honey) but when you mix it with nail polish 50/50 (as directed) the colour is no longer opaque so you have to apply many layers to get the colour of the normal nail polishThe mixed product dries out fast so you need to mix a tiny bit at a time. I used a plastic paint pallette to do this.I tried this with a plain colour, a glitter colour and a holo colour and got the same results.I also compared it to mixing polish with a no wipe top coat and got very similar results to this product. However, the hydrocol works out cheaper per ml than the top coat.

It’s good, when you get the consistency right.

This really does work, and the advice given to make just enough for what you need is good advice. I made just what I needed and towards the end it started to form like a skin but used a small drop and mixed it again to finish off. Applied well in 3 thin layers giving a smooth opaque finish and lasted the 2 weeks until I changed the colour only because I like to change NOT that it needed redoing at all. They were still impeccable, not a chip anywhere. I contacted the company to ask should I mix on a metal pallet or plastic and they got back to me straight away advising I used a plastic pallet. I used an orange stick to mix though as it worked better than using the brush. Excellent product that breaths life back into our neglected regular polishes going to waste. I would highly recommend this product that really does work, and the seller.
