Just as described
I was worried once I purchased the sword because of the other reviews, granted the sword blade does wiggle a bit, not the blade itself but where the blade connects to the hilt is where it seems to wiggle which i think is due to the sheer massive size of the sword. Its not a drawback for me seeing as it isnt sharp and i wont be using this thing other than a show piece for my wall and i can still swing this bad boy around when i want to so the wiggle isnt extreme or out of control by any means, its just a slight wiggle. The sheath is outstanding, it has this speckled glaze on top of the matte finish that makes it stand out. The handle is wrapped extremely well and as others have stated there is waxy substance on the blade when removed from the sheath, not as much as i was expecting though from reading the other reviews. A quick wipe down and the wax was gone, holstering and removing the sword from the sheath a few times and cleaning the blade seem to do the trick as no more wax is on the blade after removing it now. The last link on the chain isnt broken but who really expects it to stay on if it was? Overall I love the sword, it looks just like the one Ichigo holds in the anime, and i think 56" is the perfect size for it too, not too small and not over the top like the 68" model. If your like me and know your wanting to save some money by not buying a "fully functional" sword meaning chopping up fruit and what not, and want to display this puppy, then go ahead and add it to your cart!

You get what you pay for.
It is a cheap sword and is just that, don't get me wrong its not a bad blade... the finish is beautiful the handle is amazingly well made, the guard is metal and it looks great... but if you want it for functionality think about spending the money for the more expensive versions, this is most certainly a display sword only. I knew it wasn't gonna be sharp so I can't complain about that, but there is one major point that makes this sword cheap.. although the blade itself is a bit flimsy, that is to be expected from such a thin sword... bends easily, it is well made and the handle is well done, its the parts holding the two together that bug me, I hit a cardboard box with it and the blade "bent" to the right, the actual metal didn't bend, but the molding holding the sword straight did... it is the only really cheap part of this sword... but it makes a big difference. Only other complaint is how un-even the blade was "sharpened" it was sharper at some points and rounded at others. All in all, definately worth the price, but its definately a display piece and has no actual application, I won't be swinging this at anything harder than a pillow for fear of the blade coming loose of the hilt or indefinately becoming bent in one direction. Will be hanging on my wall soon.

56" Tensa Zangetsu Replica
I just received my Zangetsu replica and I am pleased. It arrived extremely fast and is mostly how I expected it to be. As a reviewer has already mentioned when you unsheathe the sword there is a waxy residue on the blade. This is not a problem for most people with multiple hands who can clean it off. The only flaw I can see is in my manji symbol. One corner has a small chip in it. I could just notice it when holding it close to examine it so it loses a star on that. Otherwise the sword was as expected. Mine came through Rival Swords. Remember this is a replica, not a battle ready razor sharp weapon. It is meant to be a display object or a cosplay item. While it is not 100% "accurate", as that would be very hard to do based off an anime drawing, it is very close and I do recommend it to fans looking to impress their buddies.

Awesome Sword
This sword is a little heavy, but I'm a guy. It may be little bit to heavy for someone younger. The encroachment chain is not exact, but its fine. The guard is metal, no wood here except for the sheath. The chain is also metal. The reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 is because there is a waxy substance inside the sheath that gets on the blade. Don't be alarmed when you get your sword and there is wax on it. Its no problem, you can easily wipe it off every time you pull Tensa Zangetsu from the sheath. Really, its no problem, Buy the sword. The blade is not razor sharp as it saids in the description, but its better that its not, since its not a real katana and you probably would want to cosplay with it. Its a very solid sword; it doesn't wobble if you shake the sword. The sheath doesn't feel like wood at all, its probably a more finer wood. The sheath is awesome by the way! If you have any question regarding this sword, don't hesitate to ask. :) ^.^

Still have it it's been 2 years
It's really nice.Chain broke easily by accident on it's first days.and it is of accurate length, very long that is.Looks Beautiful and can flatter your cosplay. There is sometimes a weird looking liquid ,I'm guessing for the sword preservation,it gets little splinters from the inside of the sword case as it is wooden. The blade is not,it's a nice material. Can bend sometimes.I accidentally bent it to breakable limit once but it was flexible enough to be restraigtened. Regardless the issues that may appear overwhelming,It is the best version of the blade out there and you will be happily scaring non cosplayers inside the subway train on your way home ;)

A gorgeous decoration
I went with this 56" version because it seems like the best size for this sword, and I'm happy with the choice. All the previous reviews are extremely accurate. The sword itself is absolutely beautiful, I love the design, but it's a $20 sword that isn't made to be functional. The blade is flimsy, easily bent, and unsharpened stainless steel. But it is black and has no "made in china" stamp. The guard is metal and looks fantastic, and so does the handle. The scabbard is also really nice for the price and the sword overall has an awesome feel to it. That said, it's impossible to resist swinging this around every now and then. Have fun!
