I needed some heavy duty hooks to hang up my whitewater raft frame in my shop. Two hooks are supporting 50lbs with no issue. The included hardware is nice and the sizes of the hooks make for a diverse set of applications.

Used my stud-finder, marked where I wanted it and drilled the hole. Screwed it in, used my level to mark the second hole plumb, and drilled that hole. With two long screws (provided) into a 2x4, this hook holds my 36 lb. Little Giant ladder no problem.I went ahead and marked, drilled and mounted a second hook, but one of these can easily support 36 lbs.

I ordered these in hopes the middle size would work for my shorter, lighter extension ladder. The 7 inch (large) ones worked great for mounting my heavy tall (28') extension ladder to my wooden fenceposts. The interior of the mid-sized ones however, were really too narrow to balance the smaller ladder securely. I would love to be able to purchase just the large size, as (unless you have some very narrow, heavy items) the other two sizes really have limited use for me at present. They are great hooks, however, and I recommend them if you have need for (the 2) smaller heavy-duty hooks. Now I must either be willing to have mismatched hooks, or be willing to splurge for second kit to get another ladder hook.

Fantastic storage hooks for my garage. I set them up to store my sons lacrosse helmets and pass and other items for me. They drill right into a stud and they are locked in. I'm a big fan of these and like that the screws came with the books as well which is a plus.
