Hartz Oinkies Hearty Kabob with Real Chicken, 18 Count

I want to start this review by explaining that I have extremely picky dogs. I have bought many different rawhide-free dog chews over the years and 50% of the time my dogs will not bother with them. That being said, these Oinkies Kabobs have quickly become my dog’s favorite part of the day. They last around 20-30 minutes for my 12lb yorkie and 2+ hours for my 7lb yorkie(I let him finish them over a couple of days). I love that the kabobs do not contain harmful rawhide and are able to be chewed completely by my dogs rather than just swallowed whole. They are relatively clean and don’t leave any overwhelming dog smell on my carpet where they are chewed. The quality is very consistent and I have ordered many times with no issues or bad batches. I highly recommend any dog parents with picky eaters to give these a try!

The media could not be loaded. My dog is super picky. He sniffs everything before he will eat it or even drink the water! But he loves his Oinkie’s meat and veg kabobs. He will beg for them by the pantry door for an hour. They are the right amount of chewy and hard for his taste. Getting the soft pieces off of the outside then having the crunchy stick to chew is so satisfying. The size isn’t too large for him to have one in a sitting. They last a long time but without getting jagged. They aren’t too hard and I don’t worry about pieces breaking off. He enjoys chewing them for at least an hour!

My dogs really liked them.

Okay, I have 2 small chihuahua mixes. One is super picky in what she eats and if she could....she would send the food I serve her(steak, seafood, etc) to a food lab to be tested first. I love her to death...but she is painful when it comes to food. Also she is getting old and will not eat anything that is too hard for her.My second dog is the opposite: if you gave him a shoe with sauce on it...he would wolf it down.So I decided to give a try to these treats.They both love it! And Miss Picky is absolutely obsessed with them. I could not believe it. She also did not have a hard time eating it.They got me both trained now: as soon as I come home, they both start dancing for the treats. As a matter of fact, sometimes they prefer them- to eat first....before their 10 star steak meals. Figure that one out!Highly recommend these treats.
