Bitfenix Nova delivers style, performance and silence at an incredibly competitive price. Whether you plan to build a basic office, home or gaming system, Novas simplistic design, aluminum badge, color options and optional window side panel mean it will blend in perfectly. Long air vents running along the sides of its front, hidden behind sleek mesh strips, provide plenty of airflow to cool the system. And as a result allowed us to keep Novas Top and Front panel completely closed to block fan-noise from escaping the enclosure, and dust from building up inside.Noise ShieldedTo seal fan noise inside the chassis, we developed a closed front panel for NOVA. Concealed behind a our signature mesh strips running along the sides of the front panel, lie a series of 134 air vents, that let fresh air stream into the case effortlessly. Thanks to this noise-shield design of a raised, closed front panel with side vents, NOVA is capable of keeping even powerful components supplied with the airflow required to keep them cooled adequately, all the while confining the fan-noise to the interior of the chassis.Cool BreezeNOVA offers a dual 120mm fan intake in the front, and a single 120mm exhaust in the rear, which when fully equipped results in excellent cooling performance, and a net positive air pressure inside the chassis, greatly reducing the buildup of dust. The frontal fan vents are positioned to channel fresh air directly over the storage drives, and onto the GPU and CPU, while the rear fan vent is positioned right above the CPU and supports even high-performance closed water-cooling systems.Black & whiteNOVA is available in pitch black and pure white to match your environment and perfectly blend in - whether you plan a stealthy, dark, classy build or a modern, clean, pure looking white system.Nothing to hideWhile purists probably opt for the solid steel side panel version of NOVA to create a completely closed, monolithic build, we created an optional window side panel to let you and others have a look at all the nice parts, while conveniently hiding the less interesting and appeasing looking ones. Combined with color matched components and LED fans and light strips NOVAs large window allows you to create a truly unique and impressive looking system.Storage aplentyNOVA supports up to four full size 3.5" hard drives, two 2.5" compact hard drives or SSDs and features a full size 5.25" optical disc drive slot. More than enough for a brand new build, and plenty of space to migrate over older drives from an existing system.Front Panel InterfaceThe angled front panel Interface of NOVA makes it easy to reach and use whether its on the floor, raised, or even standing on your desk. The large round power button is easy to find without even looking, while the reset button is purposely kept small and at the side of the panel. Two High Definition audio ports let you quickly connect a headset for a Skype call or to listen to your favorite music.Dust proofTo prevent dust from building up inside your power supply, causing its fan to spin at unnecessarily high speeds or even overheat and shut down, NOVA comes bundled with a dust filter you can quickly rinse and slide back. This not only reduces noise, but increases the lifetime of your power supply and keeps your system running reliably for years on-end.Assembly in 1-2-3All the mainboard stand-offs come pre-installed, cutting down the time and effort of installing a system inside NOVA significantly.High Performance CoolingNOVA supports High Performance 120mm closed loop water coolers and CPU Heatsinks with a height of up to 160mm. And thanks to a large cut-out on the mainboard tray, installing optional metal brackets to support the additional weight of performance coolers is as easy as sliding off the rear side-panel to access the mainboards backside.Gaming PowerhouseWith 7 expansion slots and a supported graphics card height of over 140mm, NOVA is ready for modern GPUs with a raised PCBs and larger, quieter heatsinks that extend beyond the traditional 110mm expansion card height.Other Characteristics: Audio input: YAudio output: YColour of product: BlackDepth: 465 mmFront fans diameters supported: 120 mmHeight: 437 mmLED indicators: HDD, PowerManual: YMaterial: Plastic, SteelMaximum CPU cooler height: 16 cmMaximum PSU length: 22 cmMaximum front fans: 2Maximum graphics card length: 32 cmMaximum rear fans: 1Number of 2.5" bays: 2Number of 3.5" bays: 4Number of 5.25" bays: 1Number of expansion slots: 7Power supply location: BottomRear fans diameters supported: 120 mmRear fans installed: 1x 120 mmRear radiator fan sizes supported: 120 mmReset button: YSide window: NSupported hard disk drive sizes: 2.5,3.5"Supported motherboard form factors: ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ITXType: PCUSB 2.0 ports quantity: 1USB 3.0 (3.1 Gen 1) Type-A ports quantity: 1Weight: 4.8 kgWidth: 183 mm

Great case at a very nice price point.
This is a really good case for the price. It was easy enough to install my parts, well mainly I fitted 2 120mm fans at the front to give it some airflow. The rear door was a tiny challenge but nothing major and it was mainly due to the power cable looping through the cable route.I got this to rehouse my Plex Machine with a fair number of hard drives and didn't want a window. I figured if I had to I could add some sound dampening. Except as I fitted my fans with resistors to slow them down there is not much sound to dampen thats 3 x 120mm including the rear and it is like a whisper if you put your ear close enough. The biggest thing I didn't like is the power light as it is a very powerful blue so at the moment it has a tiny bit of electrical tape over it. This case is on the thin side but still manages to be a bargain.

Cheap and cheerful
Does the job for a cheap build.

Very good value for money case
Thumb screws to remove sides, plenty of disk drive space, and has mounts for ATX and mATX boards. I had no problem with installing my motherboard. I was looking for a case which had screw in extension PCB mounts so my graphic card was secure and this was fine. One slight issue is the 3.5" HDD drive cage has 4 mounting holes on the left side but only 3 on the back so drives have to be mounted slightly further away from the front. My CiT PSU cables were too short to reach my mATX motherboard connectors, so I had to buy extension cables (24 Pin Male Female ATX Power Supply PSU Extension Cable 30cm from Rhino Cables, and kenable 4 pin ATX Male to Female Motherboard Extension Cable 30cm). This is obviously an issue for CiT not Bitfenix. Not a Corsair Carbide Blackout case, but excellent for 1/3 the price!

Cheap but not nasty. This has so much potential.
Wow. Bitfenix have pulled out all the stops on making a cheap, yet mostly adequate case.First impression I got was the box was empty - this case weighs next to nothing - the metal is very, very thin. There's no insulation on the side panels and they've got the barest minimum of stiffening contours - as has the rest of the case.It comes apart easily enough, space inside is deceptive given its outer dimensions, and when all buttoned up looks smart for its paltry price.Things I like:Cost - this is a bargainCompact size - especially as it'll swallow an ATX motherboard (I'm only using mini atx so there's acres of space).Free fan!Removable dust filter under PSU bay.Front panel comes off and the cables are not captive to the chassis -(its a little thing but makes building easier)Screw free 5.25" mounting brackets - only 1 pair though.Things I dislike:All the marketing photos show a pair of fans mounted behind the front of the metal frame - this is a fake as it's impossible to get the upper fan into this location as there is a metal tray in the way. The fans can be mounted in front of the metal frame, however it then leaves very little space for airflow into the front of the fans.Very little scope for cable management - to shave the width they've left mere millimetres behind the the motherboard, and optimistically put some holes in the tray, but you can't get normal braided PSU cables to fit back there -front panel will just about go (probably not the USB3 header cable though). They didn't even supply a few holes/loops for cable ties to secure cables in front of the tray around the edges of the motherboard - this wouldn't have cost much more, and would have made a semi tidy install a possibility, rather than a dream.QC has also been cut back - some of the thumbscrews are a little wonky, requiring a screwdriver to loosen. The rear panel of the case is super thin - thinner (I reckon) than the tinfoil IO shield that came with my budget motherboard. This needs careful fitting out of fear of bending something. Understandable given the low price though.Expansion card covers are snap-off, again understandable for the price. The designers were having a bad day when they did the lower drive cages - there are 4 drive positions (4 holes) on the righthand side of the case, but when you take the back panel off there are only 3 holes on the left - this is irritating as I'd already screwed the drive into the forwardmost position from the right. This case could have been so much more, with a bit more thought (and maybe a few mm) cable management could have been a reality, but also there's a lot of missed opportunities for drive storage:There's the cage for 4x 3.5" drives in the bottom front of the case (this could have been removable) additionally there's 3x 5.25" bays at the top - only one is accessible from outside however. There's also a void between the lower and upper cages which could be utilized better - for those not fitting long gfx cards, this is wasted space - you could easily fit more 3.5" drives in here with a removable bracket, and probably even align them vertically if you want a fixed bracket that doesn't foul a gfx card. There are a few odd bracket/holes in this locations that imply the designers might have got halfway through this process before abandon/finishing this. All in all I'm pleased with finding this case, it's the true spirit of a good budget case, cheap, but not nasty. It's just a bit of a shame the true potential of this case hasn't quite been unlocked.

but for an older system this case is awesome. No sharp edges
I bought this case for my nephew who wanted to swap the massive case his IP35 pro system was in to something much smaller and lighter. I can't give this case enough credit for the price. It was one of the easiest re-builds I've ever done, some cheap short cuts as you would expect at the price and probably not a case for cutting edge pc tech, but for an older system this case is awesome. No sharp edges, lightweight, looks great.. top case for the price.

Great value for money - recommended
You've got to remember that £30 is pretty cheap for a case, so you shouldn't expect a Rolls Royce. But you'll be pleasantly surprised - it's made from thin metal so there are bits of it you could bend with your hands, but unless you're into stress-testing things it won't be a problem. In all other ways it's great: space for three 3.5" drives and three 5.25" drives; a removable/cleanable dust filter under the CPU; and it comes with plenty of screws, cable ties, and so on. One fan is included, and there's space for another in front of the 3.5" drives. The angled USB ports and switches are very convenient if you have the PC on the floor. Two thumbscrews release each side panel, which come away very easily. I have to say, for thirty quid I was delighted with it.

Poor quality accessories - beware!
I bought this case for a new PC build. I was disappointed at the lightweight and cheapo appearance but I was prepared to build with it. I wish I hadn't.The stand offs for a motherboard were part assembled in the case but overtightened. I had to resort to fine nosed pliers to loosen them. Not a good start. I then proceeded to mount my brand new Gigabyte motherboard. The USB 3.0 lead from the case was very difficult to attach to the mobo header. On switching on the PC the USB 3.0 socket on the front panel did not work.On closer examination the case lead had damaged the pins on the USB 3.0 header - so my expensive new mobo was knackered by a poorly manufactured case lead. The motherboard was a swine to fit as the supplied screws were very awkward to marry with the stand offs. This has been the worst PC build I have encountered, despite having custom built several PC's over the years. Do not buy this case unless you want to damage your motherboard. You have been warned...
