I purchased these to repair a kitchen carcass that became damaged. These repair plates are well made, accurately pre drilled and come with fixing screws. Dead easy to fit and the door is sound and permanently fixed.A great buy.

After putting up with a kitchen cupboard door hanging off, I finally got around to finding a solution, as the screw holes were too big for the screws.Found these on Amazon, they were delivered within a couple of days, and fitted the same day. Job Done, working perfectly. They were really straightforward to put on, and even someone with no DIY knowledge can manage it, all you need is a screwdriver and you're good to go. Highly recommended.

My mother is very unsteady on her feet and spends a lot of her time leaning on the kitchen cupboard doors when she is taking something out of them. Meaning I spend a lot of time putting doors back on to the cupboards. Which is not a simple task as the holes left by the broken hinges have to be wood filled each time and it definitely leaves a weakness. Attaching the new hinge repair kit did mean I had to drill a further four holes to attach it. But I have reattached three doors in the last three months and they are still holding up to the constant leaning. It seems to reinforce them so they are not so easily pulled off or end up with the doors sitting at a peculiar angle due to the hinges twisting with the weight. Still early days yet but so far so good. Will be buying more of these enough to do all the lower doors because as type this review I have another door to reattach that has not had the repair kit used on it yet.

I'd searched DIY places like B&Q but couldn't find anything that would fix my kitchen cabinet after ripping the hinge off. I googled and found this repair kit on Amazon, was amazed at how cheap it was so bought one because if it didn't do the job it wasn't a great loss.It arrived within 3 days. On unpacking I found the instructions OK and easy to follow and the bracket fitted perfectly being very easy to fit with tools I had around the house (screwdriver & bradall).Very happy I found this product and the kitchen now looks as good as new!

I read other reviews which said the central holes were too small and needed drilling, and assumed that the original hinge screws would screw into the repair plate as the carcass area behind would be too damaged to hold them.It appears that the complaint has been listened to but now the holes are too big - at least 12mm wide and too big for the original hinge screws.I fixed a couple of half dowels into the cabinet side to give smaller screws something to fix onto and the plate gives additional support. Not exactly how this is meant to work but worth buying for the price - a lot cheaper than a new cupboard carcass.

After considering a number of different ways to repair the damaged holes in the cupboard carcass, I came across these. I'm glad I did. A simple, cheap, robust solution which were easy to fit and have given a tidy and solid repair. I was concerned they may make the door look out of position but that was not a problem. I have no hesitation in recommending this kit.

Wie man auf Youtube und auch hier in vielen Rezensionen vermittelt bekommt, soll dieses Reparaturset dabei helfen, ein Scharnier wieder befestigen zu können, nachdem die Bohrlöcher für die Befestigungsschrauben lose sein sollen. Also die Bohrlöcher quasi ausgefranst sind.Denkfehler:Wie soll das allerdings gehen, wenn die "Reparaturplatte" kein Gewinde besitzt, sondern einfach nur eine Platte ist, die man mit vier Schrauben befestigt, um die Befestigungsschrauben wieder in die ausgefransten Löcher zu schrauben?Das geht natürlich nicht, weil die Löcher einfach AUSGEFRANST sind und keinen Halt mehr geben.Fazit:Es gibt bestimmt einen Einsatzzweck, aber mir wurde es anders vermittelt und daher kein Problemlöser für mein Problem.

Der Kasten ist wieder wie neu und läst sich problemlos schliessen. Eine klare Kaufempfehlung.
