I. Love. These. DVDS!
I can't thank Holistic Ballet enough for producing this series of DVDs. I bought them intending to return to ballet (after many years) for cross-training for other dance work. At the moment I don't have the time to attend ballet classes in person, and they are best purchases I have made recently. I'd never practiced dance through video classes so I didn't know what to expect, but the classes are clear, enjoyable, calm and fun, and easy to do even if you have a tiny amount of space at home like I do! The progression through difficulty levels is also very clear, and there's a pointe class on each DVD which takes into account the difficulty level of the DVD as a whole. From my perspective as a returning student who did ballet at an advanced level, these DVDs are perfect, but they start right at basics so they'd be ideal for a newcomer to ballet looking for an introduction they can take at their own pace too. My long-buried passion for ballet has been reignited!

They are amazing and one never gets bored doing the same routine
As I was unable to attend Franziska's holistic ballet lessons in Central London I bought her DVDs. They are amazing and one never gets bored doing the same routine. This trains you to a high standard, it builds up on the past two DVDs and is just a joy to do at home. Franziska gives great tips how to do the exercises which I found really helpful as it prevena injury as well. Thoroughly recommended.

Accessible and fun
The lessons are clear and informative and have a really good focus on technique. I use the dvds now when I can't get to class as the lessons are well structured and easy to follow. I like that the dvds include pointe work for a comprehensive workout.

Not What I Was Expecting
I love the work of this artist, and had learned much from viewing her YouTube channel teaching video clips.I was therefore quite excited to be able to purchase this advanced level DVD. I should have looked more closely at the details about this DVD, as the description given does state that the work takes place mostly at the barre. I was looking for a full advanced level ballet class and this DVD does not provide that. There are no center floor tendus, turns, waltzes, adagios, medium and grand allegro combinations. I am disappointed to say the least, and cannot in good conscience recommend this DVD to others.

Ich habe mittlerweile alle DVDs dieser Reihe, da ich sie gut finde und es super praktisch ist, ohne lange Anfahrtswege einfach trainieren zu können. Im Fortgeschrittenen-Training sind nun die Bewegungsabläufe komplexer, macht Spaß und man kann sein Niveau steigern.
