I loved it, it was funny in parts but a very good film

I don't really like boxing type movies but this one was emotional 😭 and very good with the story

Great movie, great cast, watched it once, and will no doubt watch again as I thoroughly enjoyed it the first time around.

This is a good but tragic movie that on some cases hits a bit too close to home. This is a very emotionally charged movie driven as much by the drama as it is by Boxing. I think it does highlight a couple of areas that people do not see or necessary think about boxing or talk about in boxing. That is things like fight fixing and injuries come from boxing.This is different from other boxing movies. This starts from the in point of Jake Gyllenhall character Billy hope is on top of the world. he is 43 and 0, with an exciting fighting style witch is all attack and not defense. Like in reality this is great to watch but it takes it's toil. There are only so many punches a person can take before you have to pay the piper. My commendation to Jake playing Billy as someone going through this, I also like the way they kept the scaring and showed his injuries in the days after the big fight. From here the tragedy starts, and believe me it is bad. Now Billy is alone broke and broken, he must relearn his craft and in the process rebuild his life and his career. This is a great movie that need to be watched by boxing and non-boxing fans alike.
