Smells great and lasts quite long.

This is a very nice soap.It produces a good lather, and has a very nice, masculine scent.It seems to clean well.The bar looks high end.It is relatively expensive, but am hoping it will last longer than a bottle of equivalent shower gel (eg. Molton Brown). It is certainly more environmentally friendly with less plastic (if that floats your boat).The scent lasts for about an hour, so not particularly long.Overall would recommend, as long as you are happy to pay the price for premium products.Works best if rubbed directly on the skin rather than lathered in the hand.Update 26/11/22. This bar has lasted just under a month. I’m not sure this represents good value for the cost. Also as it gets thin it will either bend of break into smaller bits, which are annoying to hold or just go down the drain.Also beware that as with all soap bars it leaves a lot of marks (soap scum) on shower doors, walls etc.Also, like all soaps it strips the oil from the skin, and is drying compared to shower gels. For this reason I am going to mark down two stars.

This is an ok soap with good lather and scent but cannot justify £16.

Bought this after all the good reviews but honestly don’t know what all the fuss is about. Smells nice enough but it still has that dry feeling of soap. Don’t recommend it at all due to the extortionate price and average performance.

Baxter of California is like a addiction. Once hooked it difficult to go back. It’s that good. Simple.Came to know the brand from an article. Glad to have tried and test it.Addicted since 4 years now. They do last around 3 months. 7 days bath. 1 person.

Not much scent, but nice.

I have been on a scavenger hunt lately looking for a go to bar soap. I’ve used all of the soaps you would find at the retail stores. I have sensitive skin and I feel most of the soaps I’ve used don’t lather well and really dry your skin out.I have been buying a ton of soap online to try out and find one that works well for me. Needless to say, I’ve spent a lot of money on this journey. I will say this soap is expensive. But, it has been my favorite to date. The scent is nice and not overpowering. It lathers excellent and leaves your skin moisturized. It rinses off very well. The bar is fairly large and even though it lathers well, I think the bar will last a while. I’m very pleased with it and it is now my new favorite. Finally something that fits me perfect!

The media could not be loaded.  Well we can all agree that this bar soap is very expensive however let me tell you that the quality is definitely Superior and this is the best bar soap I ever had. The smell is amazing and it actually lasts on your skin for a while, sometimes I can still smell it 5 minutes after I wash my hands. what I consider most important is that it doesn't leave your skin dry like it usually happens with bar soaps. I live by myself and one bar soap will last me at least for one month because I usually don't use a lot I just use it on a sponge and this is my body wash. Please consider migrating from a liquid soap to a bar soap because it really helps in reducing plastic.

There are two reasons why I would splurge $20 on a bar of soap: the way it cleans (moisturizes the skin, lather, feel) & the scent.As far as the scent is concerned, this soap is a winner. It smells identical to Dior’s Sauvage Elixer, which is one of my favorite colognes. However, it fades real quick and it’ll be gone before you know it.The texture of the soap is good. It doesn’t have the slippery, slimy feel of cheaper soaps like Dial. And it cleans pretty good while remaining gentle on the skin.Overall, a 4 star product.

The smell is 😍 wow! It cleans your skin and leaves your skin feeling smooooooth. Even feel better about an hour after you fully dry off. Sadly I only treat myself to a couple bars a year due to the high price. If it was at a better price it be in my shower and sink year round instead of a few weeks.. even with the high price, you should treat yourself!
