UBit PCIe Risers with power LED
Good quality units, with all the components installed on the printed circuit board (PCB). Some of these risers are missing several components, as a cost savings move. The extra capacitors should help with power filtering. All six risers worked out of the box, which is more than I can say for others that I have bought. Each board has three types of power: PCIe 6-pin, Molex and SATA. I hate molex, so with they would have just dropped this. Newer Power Supply Units (PSU) don't have as many molex connectors. I also don't like the direct SATA, as this will require that the spacing of the SATA connectors from your PSU are far enough apart to adjacent risers. Many PSUs have pretty tight spacing between SATA connectors, as they are designed for a drive cage where the drives are close together. The best connector is the PCIe 6-pin via the included SATA cable. This connection provides the best flexibility for connections. There is an on-board green LED which indicates that the riser is getting powered. This could be useful for debug, but I wouldn't pay any extra for it. What would be more useful is an LED indicating that the riser has a connection to the PCIe (or M.2 NGFF) slot. The final thing to notice about these risers is that they are narrower than others I have purchased (including different Ubit risers). The dimensions of the PCB are 3.3cm x 12.9cm. The spacing of the mounting holes is 2.7cm wide and 9.7cm long. I was using a CryptoCase 6 GPU setup, and was able to mount three of the four holes. Fortunately the case included additional mounting holes, or I wouldn't have been able to use these at all!! Other Riser cards have only aligned with two of the four mounting holes, or all four mounting holes. So overall, I am happy with the product. They work as advertised, and the quality seems good. LED is nice, but a gimmick and not worth paying extra for.

Horrible....80% defect rate, bricked 2, maybe even 4. RX580's
I have 2 brand new GPU confirmed as "bricked" by these risers, maybe even 4. As reviews from various websites suggest, the items have a very high defect rate. I purchased these items understanding these might have a high defect rate, because who knows, if I had 6 and 2-3 were defective, I could still use the working ones, and Amazon's great return policy will help.I'm currently building a 6 GPU rig and these things are pretty easy to install, there is really only one way to install them. I began installation by installing two GPU's. I left them on overnight to check stability. One was fine, second GPU had a lower hashrate (also seems to be mentioned as a defect here and there). The next evening I proceeded with installing 4 more GPU's. Upon turning on the rig, I saw heard crackling noises and saw sparks and a little smoke coming out of the GPU. The LED indicator light on the riser itself was not on. I immediately shut the computer off, and initially attributed it to a defective GPU. So, without thinking much further, I changed the riser underneath the sparking GPU into a known working GPU. Very stupid on my part, but my thought was, I never read anywhere that risers were burning GPU's and I wanted to make sure the riser worked. I turn the rig back on, and, SPARKS AND SMOKE came out of the GPU. Catastrophic failure # 2. Well... now I know its the riser that destroyed the GPU.What about the 2 other GPU's? Well, when the rig powered on, I observed the cooling fans spin up for a few seconds, and then both of them died. I then unplugged the GPU's and plugged them directly into the PCI slots. Neither of them powered on, and windows were unable to detect it. Its a likely victim of the risers... Even though I didn't take the GPU's apart, but from the outside, I couldn't see any visible burnt parts on the pc board.I get that MFR's are rushing to get these parts to market due to the booming crypto mining... Looks like these parts worked perfectly fine in the past, but maybe its this new batch that someone somehow failed to quality control or safety testing on. To me, the likely culprit could be misaligned/faulty pinouts, or incorrect PCB connections. These risers, although considered to be "low voltage" parts, still pumps about 75 watts of power into the GPU, enough to break things.I contacted the MFR to discuss next steps to the issue; unfortunately they told me that it was due to improper installation..... essentially they told me to pound sand. Its also highly unlikely as there is really only one way of plugging these in. Plus I've assembled dozens of computers in the past for various businesses so its not like I don't know what I'm doing.I'm still trying to figure out what to do with the $1600 worth of bricked GPU's. Maybe I'll send it in as a "service request" to see how they diagnose the issue as :(

Dead on Arrival - Excellent Customer Service Seller Replaced them Right-away !
I was planning on building 3 6 GPU Rigs, naturally I purchased 3 sets of 6-packs of these risers. 2 of the riser boxes went flawless, on the third box everything went downhill. 3 of the locking mechanisms popped right out, while I was trying lock the GPU in to the riser, I figured I could manage it, on top of it, 4 of the risers were literally DOA. Not a single sign of life. Hopefully Seller reads this to help. Now my build is waiting on hold. The only reason I purchased these risers, because of the positive reviews, but I guess next time I should start reading with negative reviews before pulling the trigger!UPDATE (03.20.2018) - After writing my review Seller contacted me and shipped a replacement set immediately. I checked and every single one of the replacement risers worked flawless. This is an excellent Customer Service, and I appriciate this Seller stands 100% behind their product.

Solid risers with a fantastic LED feature.
These risers come packaged and appear no different than any other risers I have used in the past. After opening them is where you start to notice the difference. They are slightly skinnier than normal risers and have a few different options for powering them. I choose to use the 6 pin power connections which they come with. They are slightly heavier than a typical riser and overall feel to be a better quality. I did notice they come equipped with 3 capacitors instead of the standard 4, I am not sure how this will change how they function or their longevity. After installing the 6 risers I ordered, all of them worked perfectly. They have this nice LED indicator light to show they are functioning. The LED is clearly visible inside my 4U cases and I assume they will help to find which card is giving hardware issues in the future. So far I am pleased with my purchase and intend to purchase these risers for my future builds or to replace any that fail in the future.

DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU LIKE WASTING MONEY
Paid well over the odds for these mid March and following the reviews and some YT vids I thought these were a good go.So far, I've had to replace two risers that stopped working. So almost a month which is really abysmal to say the least. I've been running 2x 3070's, RX5700xt and an RX580 so now I'm down to only the one spare riser.Save yourself the hassle and look for something that'll last longer. These are supposed to be Ubit however I'd beg to differ. They seem to just be some low valued knock off! When they do work, they work amazing but only for about a month. Paid almost £70 for these!

One of the better risers you can buy
Circuit-design-wise this is the best riser you can buy.Though the clip for the x16 slot is garbage. Also you must not use the SATA power, they included the connector hence the 1 star less.Card maybe will not draw more than 65W from the riser from the 12V, but the return path, via the ground, might be greater and reach up to 100W, so it's recommended to use the molex or ideally the 6 pin.If you use any splitters then only split the 6 pin, not the molex.

No instructions is my only fault with this item
This seems like a very well made pack of GPU risers for mining rigs but absolutely no instructions at all with it so im not sure if all or only 1 power input is used, im thinking 1 since they are all different plugs to suit different needs but still, instructions should come with everything no matter how simple, other than that ill test these and hope they work if so im still happy ill have to find my information on youtube to be certain i dont ruin anything :)

Warning: 6 pin to 15 pin SATA cable NOT include
Item is good but I did in’ read the description carefully that the item DOES NOT include the 6 pin to 15 pin Sata cable so I have to spend money again to but the Sata cable. Not recommended this item. Every time I buy this type of rises do includes everything so didn’t read the description carefully. The listing should put the EXCLUSION at the beginning with large font not at the end of the description with only bold wording. I can’t return so ended up spent more £££ to buy separate SATA cable.

Ubit riser, very good for mining!
I have bought Ubit risers throughout one year. During that time I have experienced only one dead riser of total amount of 36. The product is stable and easy to be connected to PSUs. One point to consider in the future: it would be nice if Ubit could include a Molex to Sata power cable with risers so the cable management of the rig would be easier. It is easy recommend the product cause I think its best in the market!
