I got this three days ago and I honestly can say I thought it was leather when I opened it. It's a beautiful bag and the quality is excellent as far as the PU leather. It's super soft and the color is gorgeous...exactly what I was looking to get. My Mom was there when I opened it and she was convinced it was real leather, too. Also, there is a whole other bag that comes with it. It's a nice little cross body type bag, and although I'll mostly use it to keep in the bigger bucket bag it will be nice to have it handy if I just want to run to the store and not have to carry the bigger bag. It has a longer strap to attach to that inside bag (which is really roomy) so easily converts to a cross body bag. The only thing I'm concerned about is one of the clips that holds the handle to the bag kind of sticks in the open position, but hopefully that won't be an issue because I don't plan to be taking the strap on and off. If it becomes an issue, I'll update my review but for now, I'm thrilled with the bag and am so glad I made the choice to get it!

This is my second one like this and I love it. It is roomy and I’ve had so many compliments on it. The color is perfect and it goes with everything and anything.

This is a great looking bag, the insert makes a sizable but handy cross-body purse, and there are some really useful pockets on either end, plus the snap-button pocket in front (great for a phone and sunglasses, keys, etc). It’s the perfect size if you need a little more space but you don’t want an enormous bag.So that’s cool, but HOLY WOW IT STINKS. After reading a few of the other reviews before purchasing, I figured maybe a few reviewers were particularly sensitive to certain smells. Nope. This thing smells like death. BUT, it is a well-constructed leather-ish looking hobo bag for $30 bucks. I’m gonna stick it out for now.I currently have the bag and the insert in the freezer, each stuffed with a coffee filter full of baking soda. Hope to exorcise the evil outta there. Will update, hopefully with the news that this bag is no longer peeling the paint off my walls.**** Update: the smell is almost gone! This bag IS really well constructed; it has survived brutal over-stuffing and pretty rough wear from a recent trip, plus rainy streets and jammed subway rides.

The purse is great out of the box. I checked the seams as that was a problem for some and everything was fine looking. As for the smell people talk about it’s not a “chemical smell” it smells like cowhide to me. My mom has a bag made of cowhide and it smelled similar. It’s a bit strong yes so if you aren’t used to it I can see how people would remark at it. Just let it air out and it will be fine in a week if you are sensitive to smells. Unless I was just lucky and others got odd ones.The pouch in the middle is great although I’m not using it but I can in the future. It comes with a thin strap to use it as a crossbody if you want which I might use it for instead if ever. 3 outside pockets which are great and no pockets inside main compartment. Strap is thick and displaces weight well. So far so good and very happy with the color and texture/finish. Inside is soft. It’s a nice size to get everything in my purse but can see everything clearly. Being a mom that’s important for me.

This purse is so pretty and a great size, but it’s stinks so bad! I read the reviews that said it smelled bad but I thought, “how bad can it really be?” It’s so bad that I couldn’t even have it in my house for several days. I put it in the garage with a box of baking soda in it. At one point my husband called me into the garage to see if I smelled anything because he thought we had an electrical fire. Nope, no electrical fire, that’s the stench coming from my new purse. It’s a very strong chemical smell. After airing it out in the garage for over a week I brought it in the house and added a box of fabric softener sheets, a cup of Downey scent booster, and an air wick plug in to the inside of the bag. It let all that sit in there for another week. I carried the bag yesterday, it is still a little smelly but not near as awful as it was when I first got it. I love the looks of it and hopefully it will continue to get less stinky as time goes on.

I bought this bag in August of 2020, and here in May of 2024 it still looks like new except that the top edges are cracking, which is not noticeable unless you look closely and/or touch them. It's a great basic tote. I will say I found a "genuine leather" version nearly identical (the ends of the strap have one minor difference) to this on Etsy for around $100, so I'd say this version, considering how well it's lasted, is a pretty good dupe

I've ordered this bag four times for myself and family. Each time, the color was the beautiful, glossy brown shown on the website. This time it is this dull, muddy brown. Not even close to what I've been ordering. I guess my luck ran out. Sending this back.

I was looking for a bag with this exact shape and size…this bag did not disappoint. I love it!It is well made, especially for the price point and very stylish. The large pockets on the front and sides are very convenient. I use the second smaller bag it can with to store my belongings inside of the bag. I ordered a bag organizer to replace that though.When I read some of the reviews on this bag a few said that it had a strong off putting smell but my bag did not have any bad smells.I love this bag so much that I am ordering the brown, red and green. I might also order the coffee too.
