At first sight, this glove seems underwhelming -- it's thin and it's more a mitten than a glove.Lo and behold, it knocks out all the previous exfoliating gloves I have tried in the past (at least 4 different ones). It also provides two levels of exfoliation: the pink side is more gentle, while the black side is more deep exfoliation.First, it did not leave my skin irritated after using, even on the rougher side. For face and neck, I tend to have more sensitive skin and prone to going red if I overdo the exfoliation. So the pink side used for face + neck. On remainder of body I soaked for a couple minutes in bath, then applied the glove to wet skin. I had noticed it removed dead skin from my untanned areas, and was quite effective at getting rid of the unwanted tanned skin. I had used Loving Tan for self tanner on the tanned areas, over a week prior. I was impressed to find the more difficult areas to remove tan (elbows, shoulders, etc) came off with ease. With my prior exfoliating gloves, I found I needed to do a second pass with towel to get everything (and this irritated my skin sometimes).Another benefit I noticed is how soft my skin was after using, and continues to be, days later. I applied a new coat of Loving Tan self tanner the following day (approx. 24 hours later, as recommended) and the application seems more even and smooth than prior applications before acquiring this glove.For efficiency of removal and help with prepping prior to tanning, this Loving Tan glove is worth a little extra, and seems built to last for quite some time.

I don't tan but I bought this to exfoliate and it works wonders. Skin is so clean and soft after, I wish I had found this product sooner. I recommend exfoliating at the end of a shower/bath so that any dead skin has time to loosen. It's gross...but kind of satisfying to take all the dead skin off. Very worth the price, I will always use this product.

This not is amazing. It removes every bit of dead skin, and leaves everything really soft. I don't self-tan, I just use this mit as an exfoliator. It works for razor bump areas too.

This tans really well. My daughter always spray tans but tried this for one of her dances instead and it did the job!
